Highly productive junior season for the Montour two-way athlete. I used to pride myself in knowing all the talent Montour has on display, yet I wasn’t privy to knowing AJ Alston AJ Alston 5'11" | 185 lbs | ATH Montour | 2025 State PA in the pre-season. Led the team in scrimmage yards, receptions, as well as TDs scored. His five-score game caught my eye, I knew I’d end up ranking him by the time the season ended. Said five-score game helped Alston’s cause of being named 2nd-Team All-Conference DB & WR. The yards and scores are great but tack on exemplary play at Safety, you’ll understand quickly why I like him designated as an ATH on our site. I’d argue that Alston’s future at the next level will likely be to serve as a program’s slot/LOS playmaker, his abilities with the football in his hands are too good to ignore. That being said, it’s great to have options and experience elsewhere on the field. Should help bolster his resume a bit. It did with me. Fun tape to watch.
