Belding came out with a game plan, and they were able to execute it to perfection en route to a 66-20 victory. The defense came to play, and the offense fired off with an unmatched intensity. For Tri County, they showed flashes of why they were 7-1 coming into Friday night, but were just straight up beat by a super talented team As bad as the scoreboard looked, TC actually has some solid pieces that showed signs of being some interesting prospects if nothing else. This article will highlight some fantastic players I witnessed at Rudness Field.

Anthony Szibinski, QB/DB, Belding- Anthony got off to the hottest start I have seen all year, scoring 3 TDs in the first quarter, and continued to pour it on all night long. Mainly on the ground, Anthony was dodging tackles, zipping through the defense and just straight up dominating physically. He's extremely quick, has a lot of shifty moves, and has the breakaway speed to take it to the house at any time. I was extremely impressed with the way he played, and I think he could run the ball at the next level if he got in the right situation. Definitely a guy I would suggest some small colleges to do some homework on.

[player_tooltip player_id='899608' first='Hunter' last='Conrad'], LB/RB, Belding- Hunter is an absolute thumper that is always in on every tackle. He brings the juice on every play, reads plays quickly and gets to his spot ASAP! He can get sideline to sideline, but mostly he's a downhill, hardnose run stopper. I really love the way he plays with a chip on his shoulder, and never gets ahead of himself. It's easy to run by the play and get out of position but Hunter really stays disciplined. I recommend anyone to check this dude out because he is a true anchor for a very good defense. Running the ball, he's a straight up bull in a china shop running through defenders. This dude is an old school player that anyone would be lucky to get ahold of.

Codey Manley, RB/DB, Belding- A nice change of pace back from what Belding typically uses. He's a little bit quicker, but can still run physical when needed. I was impressed with how easily he broke arm tackles, and was able to get the edge on some pretty quick kids from Tri County. I think he can run as an every down back in a traditional offense, but his ability suits the T quite well at this point. Another really solid athlete defensively as well that really helps this Belding D stay stout on the back end as well as up front. Codey can cover well and stay lockstep with a variety of receivers. Overall I was really impressed after seeing him play for the first time Friday night.

Vaughn Veltman, WR/DB, Tri County- Tri County did have some success through the air at times in this game, and this Junior receiver was a large part of that. He runs clean routes, has some pretty good size, and showed off some sticky hands. I think if he keeps working on overall quickness, he could be a real problem. His feet were good, and he fired off quickly and didn't let the DB jam him and knock him off his route. He's coming along in his development nicely, and I look forward to what he can do in these playoffs, as I think Tri County will still be a tough out if they can keep throwing the ball well.

Michael Stout, OL/LB, Tri County- Stout was just that, STOUT! He was filling gaps and making pretty good tackles. Some of his teammates got caught reaching and trying to make arm tackles, but typically Michael was breaking down, making good tackles and wasn't getting shed nearly as easily as some others. Belding runs a physical offense, and he was coming downhill and wasn't missing a beat. It seemed that he was all over the field. He has a nose for the football and was really able to play sideline to sideline when it called for it. I like the potential Stout has as a good run stuffing LB. I didn't get to see him in coverage a ton, but I think overall he displayed an ability to be able to move well enough in coverage.
