After another exciting week of high school football action, it's time to visit the state of Kentucky to highlight some highly explosive playmakers on the offensive side of the ball that have made their presence known on the field this season through six contests. Without any further ado, here's my list of some of the top offensive stockrisers in Kentucky to watch out for in week seven of competition.

At the top of my list of notable performers is [player_tooltip player_id='378831' first='Kade' last='Goodin'], a 6-foot-2, 170-pound quarterback at Collins High School. In six games with the Titans, Goodin has thrown 87 completions out of 140 attempts for 1,145 yards and 11 touchdowns. Goodin has additionally made 113 rush attempts for 687 yards and 10 scores. What stands out most about Goodin is his overall athleticism and field awareness, showcasing his ability to make challenging completions and escape pressure with his electric speed and ability to maneuver the field. Another aspect of Goodin that stands out is his ability to escape the defense in the pocket and barrel into the endzone.

I am additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='212337' first='Trevy' last='Barber'], a 5-foot-9, 155-pound wide receiver at Bowling Green High School. In six contests with the Purples, Barber has hauled in 29 receptions for 477 yards and eight touchdowns. In addition to outstanding size and speed, what makes Barber such a playmaker is his breakaway speed, ability to maneuver the field and his consistent catching ability on crucial deep passes. Another aspect of Barber's playstyle that impresses is his ability to stay in front of the ball under pressure and muscle the defense away from him down the stretch to advance offensive production.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='287574' first='Avery' last='Bodner'], a 6-foot-0, 175-pound athlete at Boyle County High School. In six games with the Rebels, Bodner has made 64 rush attempts for 576 yards and 12 touchdowns. Bodner has also recorded 17 receptions for 256 yards and three scores. Bodner is so efficient offensively due to his explosiveness, showing off his ability to deceive the defense in the pocket and make consistent catches down the stretch. I also like how Bodner utilizes his speed along the edge to break free into the open field and force his way into the endzone.

Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is [player_tooltip player_id='873790' first='Giaonni' last='Hunter'], a 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back at Shelby County High School. In six contests with the Rockets, Hunter has made 138 attempts for 1,160 yards and 11 touchdowns. Hunter has also hauled in two receptions for 23 yards. Hunter has been relentless on the ground, blasting defenses with his footwork, ability to dodge and weave tackles and his consistency in finding the open field. Hunter's durable edge and ability to pick up speed has made him a difficult offensive weapon to contain, proving he can stay on his feet upon contact and push the offense forward in third-down scenarios.

Coming in at number five on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='373824' first='Easton' last='Jessie'], a 6-foot-1, 180-pound quarterback at Glasgow High School. In six contests at the helm of the Scotties' offense, Jessie has thrown 59 completions out of 92 attempts for 1,098 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jessie also leads his team on the ground, adding 43 rush attempts for 239 yards and four touchdowns. In addition to excellent composure and execution off the snap, what makes Jessie so dangerous under center is his arm strength and ability to hit his receivers in stride on deep passes into the backfield. Jessie also impresses on the ground, proving he can handle contact and utilize his strong footwork to escape the defense and keep the offense moving up the field.
