Week 3 Thursday night action featured several offensive playmakers who delivered performances that deserve attention. From running backs producing big numbers on the ground to receivers creating explosive plays and quarterbacks showing the ability to make difficult throws, these players showcased different ways to impact the game. Strong performances like these can provide valuable momentum as the season continues and give prospects an opportunity to elevate their stock. Each of these players demonstrated playmaking ability that stood out on Thursday night and you should keep them on the radar moving forward. Mack carried the ball 19 times for 148 yards and a rushing touchdown, consistently finding running lanes and ripping off big chunks. His ability to handle a significant workload while generating nearly eight yards per carry showcased his ability to find the hole to get north and south. Mack also added a receiving touchdown, demonstrating his versatility and value in the passing game. Being able to contribute as both a runner and receiver gives Mack multiple ways to create opportunities for his offense. His ability to make the first defender miss and having the speed to get to the perimeter to outrun defenders makes him a name to know.

Blomquist was a dominant force on the ground Thursday night, rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Blomquist consistently found running lanes and showed the ability to create explosive plays when he hit the second level. Averaging more than nine yards per carry, he gave his offense a reliable presence capable of changing the game from the backfield. His two touchdowns also showed his ability to finish drives once his team reached the redzone, being a player teams must focus on near the endzone. He has shown the ability to make the first defender miss but can also lower his shoulder to pick up extra yards as Blomquist has established himself as a name to keep on the radar. Continued production could make him an important offensive piece moving forward.

Toure showed impressive explosiveness while also making an impact defensively. The speedy prospect finished with six receptions for 200 yards and two touchdowns, including an 88 yard score on a jet screen where he pulled away from the entire defense. Toure later created separation on a go route, beating the coverage and walking into the end zone. His ability to accelerate and separate is especially impressive given his size and gives him significant big play potential. Toure also recorded five tackles on defense, showing his athleticism extends beyond offense. His combination of speed, production and wide catch radius makes Toure a playmaker who deserves increased attention throughout the season.

Peterson delivered an efficient performance from the quarterback position, completing 24 of 30 passes for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Peterson showed strong pocket presence being able to make plays from inside the pocket driving off his back foot to fit it into tight windows or being able to create outside of the pocket and still deliver accurate passes. His arm strength allows him to attack underneath routes, while his touch on the deep ball also stands out. The combination of mobility, poise and passing ability helps him be able to stay on time and in sync with his receiver. Peterson shows the confidence and accuracy to be a name on the rise that scouts need to know in the 2028 class.

Schellenberg continued to establish himself as a running back to watch with an explosive performance Thursday night. Schellenberg carried the ball 19 times for 200 yards and two touchdowns, averaging more than 10 yards per carry. He showed good vision and the ability to find running lanes and he was attacking them with authority. Once Schellenberg reached the second level, his speed became a major factor and allowed him to turn his runs into explosive gains. His combination of vision, decisiveness and acceleration gives him the tools to consistently create big plays. Schellenberg is a name on the rise, and performances like this should generate more attention as the season continues.
