Week 3 Thursday night action featured several players who delivered performances that deserve attention as the season moves forward. These standouts found ways to produce in critical moments, creating explosive plays and consistently putting points on the board. Strong statistical performances can provide momentum for players looking to establish themselves as names to know throughout the season. From running backs carrying the workload to receivers making the most of their opportunities, this group showed the ability to make an impact on offense. As the season progresses, these players will have more opportunities to build on their performances and continue raising their profiles. Houston consistently provided production on the ground while handling a significant workload for his offense. His ability to combine volume with explosive yardage allowed him to keep the offense moving and create scoring opportunities throughout the game. Houston was able to use his vision to find running lanes and lower his shoulder to pick up extra yards. Finding the end zone twice shows that he can punch it in when they get near the goal line making him someone you have to account for. Performances like this give Houston momentum heading into week 4 and makes him a running back to continue monitoring as the season progresses.

Brink made the most of his opportunities Thursday night, finishing with five receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Brink showed the ability to create explosive plays in the passing game while consistently giving his offense a dynamic target downfield. Averaging more than 26 yards per reception, his production shows his big play ability and knack for turning limited opportunities into significant yardage. Being able to find the endzone twice shows his ability to make defenders miss in the open field and the speed to pull away from defenders. Brink has shown that he can be a difference maker when the football comes his way and continued performances with this level of explosiveness could help him establish himself as a name to know throughout the remainder of the season.

Epps provided a productive performance on the ground despite his team coming up short, carrying the ball 13 times for 98 yards and a touchdown. Epps consistently picked up chunk yardage and finished just shy of the 100 yard mark while averaging 7.5 yards per carry. His ability to remain productive in a losing effort shows his importance to the offense and his ability to create opportunities with his touches. Epps also found the end zone, giving his team a key scoring contribution. As the season continues, Epps will have opportunities to build on this performance and show that he can consistently provide explosive production as a key piece of this offense.

Swanson turned limited opportunities into big time plays last Thursday night, recording two receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown. Swanson averaged an impressive 56 yards per reception, demonstrating his ability to create explosive plays whenever the ball comes his way. His production shows how quickly he can change the momentum of a game with a single reception. Finding the end zone also added another important element to his performance and gave the offense a major scoring contribution. While the number of receptions was limited, Swanson made each opportunity count and shows he has the speed to make things happen. He is a name worth keeping on the radar as the season continues.

Newton delivered an impressive performance, recording four receptions for 85 yards and three touchdowns. Newton showed an ability to consistently make his opportunities count, finding the end zone three times despite finishing with only four receptions. His touchdown production shows his effectiveness when the offense reaches the redzone and he has the ability to finish plays when targeted. Newton provided a reliable target while also giving the offense a major scoring presence throughout the game. Performances with this level of efficiency can help establish a player as an important offensive weapon. Newton should continue to be monitored as he looks to build on this strong showing throughout the season.

Dinges was a key contributor for this offense coming away with four receptions for 68 yards and three touchdowns. Dinges made a major impact in the scoring column, finding the end zone on three of his four receptions. His ability to consistently finish plays with touchdowns made him a key contributor to the offensive attack. Dinges showed that he can make his opportunities count and provide a reliable option when the offense needs to capitalize in scoring situations. The production gives him a strong foundation to build on as the season progresses. With more opportunities ahead, Dinges will look to continue developing his role and establish himself as a name to know.
