Bowen shredded a secondary for the second straight week as he completed 19-of-20 passes for 314 yards and five touchdowns during a 42-14 victory over Exeter. He also kicked four PATs and ran in a two-point conversion. Exeter was coming off a 28-0 victory over Manchester Memorial and held Memorial to 77 yards of offense in the win. The victory over Exeter allowed BG (2-0) to remain at the top of the New Hampshire Union Leader Power Poll. Bowen, who is uncommited, has passed for 624 yards and eight TDs in two games.

Although he was a Division III All-State selection as a receiver last season, Downs often operates outside of the spotlight because his Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough team competes in Division III, one of New Hampshire's lower divisions. ILMA runs a pass-happy offense, however, and Downs has shown that he has exceptional hands. He had seven receptions for 179 yards, including a 53-yard TD catch, during a 35-30 victory over Somersworth. Downs also ran for a 74-yard TD in the win, which moved ILMA's record to 2-0.

Draper established himself as a solid two-way player at running back and defensive back last season, when he rushed for 902 yards and 15 touchowns on 22 carries and led Pelham to the Division II semifinals. He's off to a strong start this season as well. After running for 122 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 1 victory over Kingswood, he picked up 193 yards and two more touchdowns during a 56-6 win against John Stark. He also added 60 yards in punt returns.

Green is the type of physical running back you don't want to tackle, and is among the top players from New Hampshire in the Class of 2028. He's an exceptional linebacker, but has been Manchester West's go-to player on offense through two games. He ran for 210 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries in a 49-20 victory over Hollis-Brookline one week after he gained 98 yards on 18 carries in a win against Kennett. His TDs against Hollis-Brookline came on runs of 53, 1, 11 and 25 yards. He also ran in a two-point conversion.

No New Hampshire quarterback worked harder in the off-season than O'Connor, who seemed to be at a camp every weekend when he wasn't working out with his quarterback coach. He's being looked at by several Division II and Division III schools, and turned in one of his most productive games at the varsity level in a 36-0 victory over Keene. O'Connor completed 19-of-25 passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns in the win, and also ran the ball seven times for 89 yards and a TD.

Sanborn plays for his father (Plymouth coach Chris Sanborn) and is a three-sport athlete (basketball, baseball and football) who would be a good addition to any college football program. Sanborn has allowed Plymouth, which traditionally employs a run-heavy offense, to be more balanced since he became the starting QB last season. That balance was on display during a 35-0 Division II win against Kennett, when he completed 10-of14 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 51 yards and three TDs on six carries.

Because of his value in all three phases of the game as a running back, defensive back and kick returner, you could argue that Spellman is the top uncommitted high school player from New Hampshire in the Class of 2027. He turned in a dominant peformance against a Bedford team that beat Pinkerton in last year's Divison I title game. Spellman scored on the game's second play from scrimmage and finished the contest with 194 yards rushing and three touchdowns on seven carries to help Pinkerton earn a 40-7 victory. His TDs came on runs of 70, 4 and 56 yards.

Tsakiras left Portsmouth/Oyster River's 28-13 victory over Manchester Memorial in the second half with an ankle injury, but made a significant contribution to the win before his exit. He rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries, recorded nine tackles and intercepted a pass as Portsmouth/Oyster River improved to 1-1 in Division I. Both of his TDs were 2-yard runs, and his interception came on the Portsmouth/Oyster River 4-yard line with 45 seconds remaining in the first half to help preserve the Clippers' 14-10 lead.
