With that in mind, I will be taking some time to continue breaking these rankings down by position. Taylor has very impressive vision which he uses to find the open running lane and cut back lanes with ease. Once he gets through the running lane, he has also shown the explosive speed to run away from the defense for a big gain. Through four games this season, Taylor has split carries out of the Trinity backfield but has impressed when on the field, running the ball 25 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns. He currently leads Dayton in rushing, carrying the ball 44 times for 438 yards and 10 touchdowns in four games, helping lead them to an undefeated start to the season. Kennedy is a very difficult ball carrier to bring down in the open field as he has the elusiveness to make defenders miss along with the strength and contact balance to break tackles with ease. He has also shown the ability to line up on the outside at receiver and use his speed to pose as a reliable deep threat. Malachi leads his team in receiving with three catches for 107 yards so far this season. Kinzer is a strong downhill runner who has shown the ability to lower his shoulder and run straight through defenders to break tackles without losing stride. Once he hits the open field, he has shown the ability to hit a second gear and use his speed to break away for long runs. Kinzer has also made an impact on defense this season, recording 10 tackles, one tackle for a loss, and an interception which he returned for a touchdown. Through three games, he leads his team in rushing with 63 carries for 553 yards and five touchdowns. Eli has explosive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane with a sense of urgency then run away from the defense for big gains on a regular basis. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has shown the elusiveness to make them miss and strength to break tackles. He has also caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown this season. Wireman leads Magoffin County in rushing through four games this season, running the ball 55 times for 539 yards and four touchdowns. He is rarely brought down on first contact as he uses his strong leg drive to drag defenders down the field to pick up extra yards with ease. Blake has also shown the speed to break away for big gains once he hits the second level. He has also played a key role in the passing game so far this season, catching 11 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
