I was able to watch some of Antonio Kinzer Antonio Kinzer 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Elizabethtown | 2028 State KY ‘s athleticism on display during the Kentucky State football camp over the summer, where he earned an offer. Kinzer is very explosive and plays the game with a lot of energy. He’s quick with the ball in his hands, but also has a powerful lower body that helps him break through arm tackles. Kinzer also returns the ball on special teams, where he recorded a kickoff return touchdown last week in a win vs. Taylor County. Before last week, Kinzer had already accumulated 813 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns across 87 touches. That’s good for 9.3 yards per attempt.

Kinzer is a strong downhill runner who has shown the ability to lower his shoulder and run straight through defenders to break tackles without losing stride. Once he hits the open field, he has shown the ability to hit a second gear and use his speed to break away for long runs. Antonio holds an offer from Kentucky State and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

Antonio Kinzer Antonio Kinzer 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Elizabethtown | 2028 State KY showed that he’s willing to do the dirty work on both sides of the football at Sunday’s KSU camp. He was so impressive that Kinzer earned an offer from the Thorobreds in front of the entire camp after the group took a knee. He may be one of Kentucky’s best running backs, but since the one-on-one drills featured only WR vs DB, Kinzer played defensive back. He turned heads while playing the position, knocking balls free, making extra efforts to get his hand between the ball and receiver, and sticking with receivers who are taller and longer than him. Whether he sticks with RB at the next level, he very well could have success on defense in college.
