Representing Harmony, MN and Fillmore Central High School in MN's Class A ranks, [player_tooltip player_id='2382281' first='Adrian' last='Rindels'] has all of the makings and measureables to assert himself as a dominant WR and big-time WR prospect in the state's small school ranks. At a reported 6'4, Rindels is currently the state's receiving leader in TDs, which is how he first got on my radar, and he's put up some impressive personal stat lines, namely in Week 0 action against Medford when he went for 3 catches for 80 yards and 3 TDs, following it up with a 2 catch for 81 yard and 1 TD performance on Friday against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton.

Like many great MN small school standouts, Rindels is a great multi-sport athlete for the Falcons, competing in basketball and track and field as well as football, and his track and field times at his size are especially eye-popping. Rindels PRed with an 11.12 100M, 24.18 200M, 5'8 high jump, 18'9 long jump, and 38'2.5” triple jump during the 2026 outdoor track & field season, very strong times for a sophomore. Only thing missing is film! Adrian: please update that Hudl, young man! We want to see the explosive deep threat and length on tape!

@AdrianRindels

[player_tooltip player_id='2382324' first='Jaxon' last='Mitchell'] out of Mahtomedi is another 2028 standout WR breaking out on the gridiron thanks to his Week 1 play. A 6'2, 170 lb. 2028, Mitchell had a big Week 1 against Mankato West, and although the Zephyrs lost to the Scarlet 31-28, Mitchell still popped off for 3 catches for 147 yards and 2 TDs in the loss, helping to break in new starting QB Trevor Rogosheke and asserting himself as Maht's primary playmaker from their Week 1 showing. Additionally, Mitchell can absolutely fly on the track, PRing with an eye-popping 10.90 100M and 21.88 200M during the recent 2026 outdoor track & field season. The kid can fly! That's a dang guarantee with those numbers, but unfortunately, Mitchell doesn't have an X account and has not posted any tape from this past week's action. Jaxon: please get yourself visible, young man!

Another breakout prospect from Harmony, MN and the Fillmore Central Class A program, 2029 RB [player_tooltip player_id='2382340' first='Grant' last='Daniels'] popped off for a big-time personal showing on Friday against JWP. In the 48-28 win, Daniels rushed 16 times for 169 yards and 4 TDs to make himself quite familiar with the opponents' endzone in the contest. No socials or film, however, so Daniels remains a bit of mystery, but you can't help but get excited at the prospect's scoring ability, reported size, and youth.

I am dying to get some film on Red Lake County Central's senior fullback [player_tooltip player_id='2382347' first='Boe' last='Nelson']. Listed at 6'1, 210 lbs. on MNFootballHub, Nelson popped off for 8 rushes for 50 hard-fought yards and 3 TDs in Red Lake County Central's win over Pine River-Backus. Rocking #41 and looking like a brick of a ball carrier in the TD run posted on Hudl by their automated features, Nelson ran a kid over to get in the endzone and made sure to flex about it, a gnarly and physical play style that college coaches absolutely want to see in a potential fullback. Nelson may be vying for best fullback in the state in 2026, be warned!

Shoutout Win-E-Mac! The Patriots, based out of Erskine, MN, won one of the tightest non-overtime results of MN's Week 1 of action, defeating Clearbrook/Gonvick 30-28 thanks in large part to the effort of 2027 RB [player_tooltip player_id='1573260' first='Jayden' last='Haugen']. Fresh off a camp season that saw him post more than his fair share of blazing athletic times (see the embedded tweeted below), Haugen popped off for 23 for 203 yards and 3 TDs in 30-28 win over Clearbrook/Gonvick, including go-ahead winner, and asserted himself as a big-time RB in MN's Class 9Player ranks. Twitched up in the open field, good vision, and can accelerate out of his cuts, Haugen's putting up some ridiculous highlights and is on a short list to watch for 9Player All-State honors, contingent on him maintaining the production. D3 and NAIA programs need to get this dude on their RB Big Board ASAP.

https://twitter.com/Jayden13Haugen/status/1943494843826671711

The 2025 Class A runner-ups Breckenridge have something to prove in 2026. Beginning with a Bemidji State small school War on the Shore Team Camp win, the Cowboys have some serious size and physicality in the trenches and some real-deal playmakers on the perimeter, a dangerous combination that is already giving the Cowboys' Prep Bowl aspirations yet again. Like any football team, no matter the level, things ebb and flow with your QB, and the Cowboys have a good one in 2026 in [player_tooltip player_id='2128339' first='Riley' last='Kappes'], who popped off for a huge personal showing in Breck's Week 1 win against Benson, 35-22.

Kappes went 12-17 for 220 yards and 3 TDs through the air + 14 rushes for 151 yards and 2 TDs in the win, and the film shows off a dynamic, dual-threat talent who stretch the field with accuracy and touch and distribute to his playmakers well. However, he also has the juice to find six himself, displaying vision and burst, COD ability leaves opponents and defenders' ankles stuck in the mud, and the ability to shift into another gear when he hits the open field. Kappes can pull away from defenders and has the top-end speed to finish big runs into the endzone. Also an elusive scrambler, mobile around the pocket, throws a good ball on the move and is calm and comfortable with pressure in his face and a pocket that has broken down. Buy stock now! I smell a ranking's bump.

https://twitter.com/16_kapp/status/2097002190908817665

PRZMN is very used to Mountain Iron-Buhl having a stat-stuffing, versatile, and well-built QB behind the reigns of their offense, and we were especially curious to see who MIB's QB1 will be in 2026. Well, we got our answer in MIB's 72-28 beatdown of geographic rival Cherry High School this past Friday. Alto, who PRZMN knows primarily as a LB prospect, stepping into the role of QB1 on Friday and coming out with 16 completions on 25 attempts for 322 yards and 5 TDs + 21 rushes for 122 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. Also a couple of huge TFLs on defense to show off his overall defensive range and closing speed.

Alto proved he could stretch the field vertically, throw a good deep ball, and lead his WRs open at the third level of the gridiron. Far from lacking in arm strength, but also threw some impressively accuracy slants, corners, curls/sit downs/hitches, seam routes, and out routes. Also can run the option and tote the rock with physicality and authority, bouncing would-be tacklers off his lower body, sometimes 3-5 in a single carry and rep. Really impressive Week 1 showing and tape that I am very excited to see him build off. Go Rangers!

https://twitter.com/AltoIzaiah3/status/2096349749242650973

Dawson-Boyd vs. Murray County Central was one of a handful of MN small school showdowns we were watching incredibly closely on Friday, and the matchup delivered, with the Blackjacks walking away with a 42-21 win on the road against the Rebels. In the D-B victory versatile 2027 6'3, 205 lber. [player_tooltip player_id='1992050' first='Colten' last='Bothun'] showed up and showed out, reinvigorating his recruiting stock and platforming himself well for a potential ranking's bump in this month's 2027 update. Bothun went for seven rushes for 159 yards and three TDs, one catch for 12 yards, and six tackles in the victory, and the posted senior tape displays a tall, shifty, balanced RB with power and quickness in the open field. Good vision and overall elusiveness, especially for his size, and homerun speed helps him find six as well as flash the speed to take the edge and sideline of a defense. Long, strong legs bounce weaker tackle attempts off his thighs with ease as well. This dude is going to be one hard 1v1 tackling assignment for Blackjacks' opponents in 2026.

https://twitter.com/BothunColten/status/2096295275719446702

Owatonna is back to their winning ways! The 5A powerhouse Huskies, only a few years removed from a 5A state championship, defeated 507 rival Mankato East 37-29 on Friday, in large part thanks to the individual efforts of 5'11, 190 lb. 2027 RB [player_tooltip player_id='2256589' first='Kade' last='Hullopeter']. The senior breakout athlete posted 19 rushes for 157 yards and 2 TDs. Sadly, that's about all we know about the 2027 RB prospect, as his socials remain un-updated and his most recent football film is from three years ago. Kade: please update that Hudl, man! We wanna see what you got!

@kadehullopeter

--
