Fresh off a camp season that saw him post more than his fair share of blazing athletic times (see the embedded tweeted below), Haugen popped off for 23 for 203 yards and 3 TDs in 30-28 win over Clearbrook/Gonvick, including go-ahead winner, and asserted himself as a big-time RB in MN’s Class 9Player ranks. Twitched up in the open field, good vision, and can accelerate out of his cuts, Haugen’s putting up some ridiculous highlights and is on a short list to watch for 9Player All-State honors, contingent on him maintaining the production. D3 and NAIA programs need to get this dude on their RB Big Board ASAP.

RB/WR Jayden Haugen Jayden Haugen 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Win-E-Mac | 2027 State MN really won me over thanks to his versatility as a three-phase contributor and comfortability with the ball in hand. Haugen took a kick back for six in 2024 to highlight some explosiveness, and he was also productive on the stat sheet, finishing 2024 with 784 rushing yards and 9 TDs, the KOR for a TD, and 39 tackles and 2 INTs en route to an All-District nod as a sophomore. The speed pops off the tape, and Haugen displays big play burst with the speed to finish long runs for six and good contact balance for his size. If he sees daylight, he’s gone, and Haugen can also get up to top speed quickly. If he has a good offseason, Haugen could be a kid in real contention for a 9Man All-State nod in a couple seasons. His speed and playmaking ability is legit.
