He plays fast, understands his role, and will be an easy addition to the next rankings update. The Jonesboro linebacker lit up the stat sheet as a junior with over 100 tackles and 12 TFLs. He's off to another great start this fall as a senior, showing an aggressive style of play as he consistently finds a way to the ball-carrier. Look for the sure-tackling linebacker to push for All-Region status at the end of the season.

An easy breakout defender to know in the Atlanta area, Braxton brings a muscular 6-foot-4 230-pound frame to the table and has been dominant off the edge for his Decatur team. He's will new to the game but has shown early this season that he belong somewhere at a Power Four program. He's physically-gifted, naturally athletic and has an incredibly high ceiling as a dependable pass-rusher. He explodes off the snap and shows a natural ability to create chaos in the backfield. If he continues to work hard and develop over time, Braxton has a chance to be a steal for a major Power Four program come December. Look for Braxton to see a massive jump in the next 2027 rankings update this fall.

An active small-town linebacker who deserves more recognition, Johnson is a tough, physical tackler who has really stood out to start his senior season this fall. Through his first four games the Brentood Academy standout has made 19 tackles. He dissects plays quickly, wraps up properly, and is one of the toughest run-defending linebackers in the area. He brings good size at 6-foot-0 215-pounds and will likely continue to put up big numbers throughout his senior season. He's playing at a high level and will be an easy addition to the upcoming 2027 Prep Redzone rankings update this fall.

A physical, contact-loving North Georgia defender who also plays offense, Veater is a compact 5-foot-10 220-pound two-way player at Lumpkin County who continues to improve defensively. One of the more physical linebackers in the region, Veater plays hard, wraps up properly, and is off to a strong start to his senior season. The do-it-all player from Dahlonega has made 21 tackles through his first three games with two pass-breakups in coverage. Helping lead Lumpkin County to a promising 3-0 start, Veater has made at least six tackles in every game so far and does not appear to be slowing down.

A big-play linebacker who has started his senior season off with a bang, Ausfeld is an athletic 6-foot-0 180-pound defender who shows impressive instincts, quickness, and is proving to be one of the region's hardest-hitting linebackers. The Savannah native has been one of the more productive defenders in the area to start the 2026 season, securing 23 tackles, four TFLs and three sacks through his first three games. He plays fast, understands the position, and brings an intimidating presence for someone his size. He's playing at a high level and will be an easy addition to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings this fall.
