One of the biggest breakout defenders you’ll find across the state, Braxton is a physically-gifted EDGE defender from Decatur with big-time athleticism and a muscular 6-foot-4 230-pound frame. He’s a playmaking defender who can set the run using his natural strength and above-average length, allowing him to shed tackles and create havoc in the backfield. He fires off the ball, gives good effort, and has the physical traits needed to make a big impact in the trenches. He’s still developing as a player, but he already has the ability to destroy plays in the backfield. He was an easy addition to the rankings and is seeing his recruitment pick up with recent offers from Navy, Oklahoma State, East Carolina, among others. Braxton is now ranked among the top defensive linemen in the Atlanta area for the 2027 class.

Braxton’s midseason emergence generated viral buzz across the country, which has caused his offer list to explode, slotting him in as one of the biggest senior risers in the entire country. He is a multi-sport standout with truly prototype and elite traits. He has the size, strength. and bend to turn speed into power as an edge rusher. Flashes of violence are littered on tape, too, proving he can go on a straight line straight through blockers and to the QBs. He should land on an FBS roster and will give that school a development with a long runway.

An easy breakout defender to know in the Atlanta area, Braxton brings a muscular 6-foot-4 230-pound frame to the table and has been dominant off the edge for his Decatur team. He’s will new to the game but has shown early this season that he belong somewhere at a Power Four program. He’s physically-gifted, naturally athletic and has an incredibly high ceiling as a dependable pass-rusher. He explodes off the snap and shows a natural ability to create chaos in the backfield. If he continues to work hard and develop over time, Braxton has a chance to be a steal for a major Power Four program come December. Look for Braxton to see a massive jump in the next 2027 rankings update this fall.
