Washington class of 2030 prospects to watch

Fall camp for the football season is underway, and high school football teams across the country are beginning to start their seasons.   With that reality fast approaching, I wanted to take a look at a few of the many Washington class of 2030 freshmen who could make a big impact this year - and are almost certainly to make a big splash over the course of their careers.   Here's a look at a handful of the top Washington 2030 football players fans should monitor closely:   ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1397308' first='Dash' last='Jones'], Federal Way — An Under Armour All-American selection, the 5-foot-9, 162-pound defensive back is one of the most polished young corners in the entire country.   Jones won a DB MVP at The Northwest Showcase, and has already generated offers from Cal, Central Florida, Colorado State, Miami Penn State, UCLA, UNLV, Washington State and others.   He is a national recruit already and will almost certainly have offers from most of the top programs in the country before his career comes to a close.   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1907993' first='Tyson' last='Daniels'], Kennedy Catholic — Daniels is already one of the nation's premier offensive linemen in his class.    He holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Miami, Texas A&M and many more,   The 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman has a rare blend of size, athleticism and power, and there's a reason he's already been selected as an Under Armour All-American, along with several other Washington 2030 and 2031 prospects.   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1906200' first='Baker' last='Pohina'], Kennedy Catholic — Another Under Armour All-American selection, Pohina is one of the nation's toughest interior linemen in his class.   He's a physical, relentless competitor who consistently overwhelms defenders with his toughness and aggressive style of play.   The talented lineman already holds a scholarship offer from Idaho, but many, many more should be coming his way before his high school career comes to a close years from now.    ATH Daeshaun Washington, Evergreen — The 6-foot, 181-pound wide receiver/defensive back is set to start on both sides of the ball for Evergreen.   Washington already holds multiple Division I offers for both football and basketball, including Cal, North Carolina State, Syracuse and others.   He's got a chance to be incredibly special whichever path he chooses - and he could even play both.   OL/DL Ahvial MoiMoi, O'Dea — MoiMoi has been a dominant force up front since he first started playing football.   The 6-foot, 240-pound two-way lineman is set to play at O'Dea, and could join a long line of talented future college football players the school has produced over the years.   Last season, the talented athlete racked up 29 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and 8 sacks in just 8 games.   MoiMoi is absolutely a player to watch.    ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1906377' first='Peyton' last='Tenner'], Auburn-Riverside — Tenner is likely to develop into one of the state's best running backs in time, and could see early playing time in his career - possibly this year.   A lacrosse and track and field standout, Tenner is just scratching the surface of what he can be on the football field.   Expect big things from him.    S Javon Jones Jr., Auburn — The 5-foot-11, 175-pound safety/wide receiver is an explosive athlete with serious upside.   His young highlights are impressive and speak to his ceiling, but it's even more intriguing to hear he earned varsity reps on both sides of the ball in camp.   Unsurprisingly, Jones is a three-sport athlete - basketball and baseball.   Expect early contributions from the budding star.   RB/LB Anthony Linn, Emerald Ridge — The still-growing 6-foot-8, 155-pound football/track athlete competed in the 2025 D1 All-American Bowl at the 14U level.    As a track standout, he has posted an 11.96 100 and 24.47 200.   Expect that speed to continue to build as he grows and develops - and for him to be an early breakout high school star.    OL Finn Elliott, Peninsula — A 6-foot-2, 265-pound offensive lineman with a plus wingspan, Elliott, who also competes in track and basketball, has made sure to put in the early work to get some exposure.   He competed at the Top Dawg University of Washington camp, the Avery Strong Showcase, and earned an Underclassmen MVP at an event for George Fox in late June.    Safe to say, he's firmly put himself on the radar early in his career.   OL Mason Lawrence, Puyallup — “Big Red” is already 6-foot-5, 265 pounds and is a talented multi-sport athlete.    He's got an early offer from New Mexico and could develop into a true national recruit.   Lawrence is one of the most physically-ready freshmen big men on the entire West Coast.    ATH Aryeh Williams, Puyallup — The 5-foot-8 playmaker can do a little bit of everything - running back, wide receiver, defensive back.    Williams, who competes for Heir Football, is a true playmaker who may be a little bit further along as a defensive back right now.   Expect big things from him in the (near?) future.   S [player_tooltip player_id='2161170' first='Landon' last='Bartlett'], Capital — Yet another talented, young defensive back with upside.   Bartlett has a chance to develop into a multi-offer prospect over the next few years.
