His 36 touchdowns to just 8 interceptions show how much of a polished passer he is. He completed 67% of his passes on the year, with 15.9 yards per completion. He is also second in rushing on the team for returning players, with 278 yards and 6 touchdowns on the year. He averaged 7.7 yards each time he ran on just 36 carries. He had a touchdown to interception ration of 30-6, while completing an impressive 73% of his passes last fall, for 13.6 yards per completion. He also added a rushing touchdown on the season, with a long of 18 yards. McBride does it all for the Cougars, with 41 of his 83 kickoffs being touchbacks, just under 50% of them allowing for no return. He also dominates in basketball, earning an offer there. He did so on 241 carries, for an astonishing 7.0 yards per carry, proving how much of a weapon he was. Rushing for 129.5 yards per game, he had 8 games over 100 yards rushing, and finished with 31 rushing touchdowns, which was all but six of the team's total of 37. He also leads the team in receiving yards for returning players, with 512 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also registered two sacks from his linebacker position, with a pass deflection, two forced fumbles, as well as two fumble recoveries. He also added 120 yards of offensive production in light duties on that side of the ball.
