Zane Rowland | Prep Redzone Scout
While Boucher may be undersized at the running back position, his production certainly made up for it last fall, with an impressive 1,683 yards rushing for the Cougars in 2025. He did so on 241 carries, for an astonishing 7.0 yards per carry, proving how much of a weapon he was. Rushing for 129.5 yards per game, he had 8 games over 100 yards rushing, and finished with 31 rushing touchdowns, which was all but six of the team’s total of 37. He also leads the team in receiving yards for returning players, with 512 yards and 3 touchdowns. His 372 yards in the return game put his overall yardage production at 2,567 yards on the year, good for an eye-popping 197.5 yards per game.

Boucher’s vision is among the best in the class, as he’s able to find and squeeze through holes most other guys can’t. He was especially valuable in the red zone, as he still thrived when the field shrank, and more defenders entered the box. He was important to his team’s success, as Croatan had one of its best seasons in school history behind Boucher’s 1,700 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns. He was also one of the most successful backs in the state as a pass-catcher, with over 500 receiving yards on 40 receptions.

Andrew Boucher Andrew Boucher 5'8" | 155 lbs | RB Croatan | 2027 State NC does it all for Croatan and is one of the most productive playmakers in the 252. He put together a huge season, totaling over 2,000 all-purpose yards and an eye-popping 34 touchdowns. In the playoff game I watched, he found the end zone four times, showing just how dominant he can be on the big stage.
A true do-it-all threat, Boucher is a difference-maker every time he steps on the field.

Boucher put together an all-world performance in Round 2, completely taking over Croatan’s matchup against Seaforth. The junior back dominated from start to finish, exploding for nearly 200 rushing yards and a remarkable 5 touchdowns. His blend of balance, toughness, and downhill burst made him impossible to slow down, and he consistently delivered momentum-swinging plays whenever Croatan needed a spark. With performances like this on the playoff stage, Boucher is proving he’s one of the most dangerous junior backs in the region — and a key reason Croatan is positioned to make real noise in Round 3.

When we previewed the Coastal 5A/6A Conference last month, Boucher stuck out as a guy who could have a huge impact on Croatan’s chances in 2025. He’s not the biggest guy, but his impact extends beyond the running back position. One of the top players on his team, Boucher has game-breaking ability as a big-play threat on both sides of the ball.
