The Move at the Top

[player_tooltip player_id='1587367' first='Prince' last='Goldsby'] is the prize of the class, and not just at the position. The quarterback terrorist from Blue Springs South is the new top ranked prospect in the Class of 2027. Goldsby can play off the edge and rush the pass, he can play in space, he can have a role in coverage, he can play all over the field with his size, athletic ability, range and physicality. The re-evaluation of this position in the current class began in March, and right away it was clear the top of the rankings was going to change. EDGE is a premium position, and playmakers at it are themselves at a premium. Goldsby is a weapon, was tagged as the new Number One in the spring, got offered by Ohio State and committed in May. He's got a great future ahead.

New Names Dotting the List

As rare as valuable and productive EDGE players are, the 'new additions' portion of the rankings this late in the game will be slim. A few flashed once 2025 film was pulled.

[player_tooltip player_id='2142876' first='Aaron' last='Henderson'] | Hickman

Henderson is a bit of a developmental prospect but possesses the things coaches can't teach. He's long, athletic, explosive, laterally agile and has a nose for the football. Reporting now at 215 pounds at a listed size of 6040-6050, Henderson has excellent growth potential as lean as his body comp appears to be. Henderson was given a power conference grade and is on his way to play Pac-12 ball at Colorado State.

[player_tooltip player_id='2142843' first='Jackson' last='Wooden'] | Hallsville

Wooden is a high football intelligence, anticipation, motor player with a long frame, quicks and lateral explosivity. Wooden has a developmental frame with the capability to pack on some serious weight and pounds. He remains extremely under-recruited, he deserves the power conference grade he has, and he delivered his commitment to Northwest Missouri over the summer. His ceiling is through the roof.

[player_tooltip player_id='2145379' first='Michael' last='Patillo'] | Lee's Summit West

Patillo doesn't have the length and size of his power conference graded cohorts above him, but he jumped out with his effort on the field. His GPA is up, he's a two sport athlete with a baseball background. He is mainly aligned at end in the three point stance, so size and position specific play history gives him a grade and projection at DE or EDGE at the Division II level.

The Big Riser

[player_tooltip player_id='1726900' first='Andrew' last='Oldham'] | Marquette

Oldham really popped in his junior year film. His verified size of 6050 238 at Lindenwood at June supplements his evaluation on the ability to get off the ball, play with great pad level, stay balanced with his feet, be good in redirection, trigger, and chase after the ball covering lots of ground in his strides. Oldham is raw technically but understands space and delivers a punch to send a blocker backwards. Realistically, probably a future hand in the dirt DL5T, or if his genes allow him to grow, a DL3T prospect. Either way, he creates problems at the LOS and that is what coaches want. Oldham has a Division I power conference grade reflecting his ceiling.

Additional Risers

[player_tooltip player_id='1590167' first='Antonio' last='Pinkston'] | Festus
[player_tooltip player_id='1667958' first='DeZaveon' last='Williams'] | Lift For Life
[player_tooltip player_id='1587367' first='Prince' last='Goldsby'] | Blue Springs South

What To Watch For

[player_tooltip player_id='1667958' first='DeZaveon' last='Williams'] was one of the most intense competitors PRZMO saw this offseason. This EDGE is an absolute animal off the ball and can really skyrocket his stock this fall. How big does his growth development take him?

[player_tooltip player_id='1726879' first='Carlos' last='Clark, Jr.'] out of Liberty North has all the raw stuff. He's long, he's athletic, he has a motor. He's a developmental athlete that could eventually turn into an NFL prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1726906' first='Nolan' last='Ball'] out of Hazelwood West is a ball of violence without much tape. Look out for what he could potentially do over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1590192' first='Karhon' last='Edwards'] from University City showed up at Lindenwood at 6000 255, up from 216 in 2025, and recorded a 1.63 10 yard split. His film will be highly anticipated after the first 3-4 games.
