The Tennessee high school football season continues today. After a long offseason, we are finally back to the sport that we all love. With new seasons come breakout players, unknown commodities who make a name for themselves and even players who were good but have taken that next step in their football journey.

I'm doing a new series about each position where I find five players whom you and college coaches need to buy stock in. Continuing, I have the tight ends. Each one is a bit different in their own ways, but definitely good enough to buy stock in for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1952678' first='Teddy' last='Graff'] had a solid junior season, followed by a strong offseason that earned him several DI offers. He ultimately committed to Tulane in June and has stuck with it so far. With him being a commit to one of the top Group of Five schools, putting him on this list seems wrong. However, I think Graff is going to take that next step and have an impressive senior year.

He offers good size, standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 225 pounds with a long frame. I'd like him to add more weight, but it does not hold him back from being a good player. The 2027 prospect is a technically sound blocker, gets off the ball well, is physical and offers nice receiving upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1704680' first='Jackson' last='Walters'] is in a loaded offense at Alcoa, which even features a Division I commit as the starting tight end. That said, I feel strongly about the 2028 prospect and think you'll see a lot of good things this season. He flashed a bit at Knox Webb last season, but will now play for an elite Tennessee team.

He's playing on both sides of the football, but I love his upside as a TE/H-Back. He stands nearly 6-foot-5 and weighs 235 pounds with a stout frame. Walters is a solid receiver who can be good in that area, but his blocking ability is what intrigues me. The junior is strong, plays with violent intentions, has good technique and possesses a high motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292338' first='Aaron' last='Heatherly'] may be the most underrated senior tight end in Tennessee. He has multiple DI offers and is committed to Mercer, but the long tight end should be able to thrive in this Alcoa offensive scheme. Heatherly had a solid game last night, catching multiple passes in a victory against Maryville.

He offers good size for his position, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 230 pounds with an 80-inch wingspan, a stout frame and big hands. Heatherly is a solid blocker, but he's the opposite of his teammate. I love the senior's receiving ability and see him as a potential high-level contributor at the Group of Five level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1614247' first='Mason' last='Bonner'] is behind a Division I commit at tight end, but he will get some run this season. I love his upside on both sides of the football, but specifically at tight end because of this article. He's an athletic freak with a dynamic skill set in terms of receiving upside. However, don't underestimate his blocking ability.

He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds with a well-built frame. Bonner is extremely athletic with nice hands that will make him a problem once he gets on the field. I'd like to see the 2029 prospect become more polished, but that will come. He's a good blocker for Ensworth, playing with sound technique and a good brand of physicality.

[player_tooltip player_id='902961' first='Jayden' last='Cannon'] has been one of the most underrated players in Tennessee since getting a chance to see the field a few seasons ago. He's a standout on both sides of the football, especially as an outside linebacker. But I'm using him as a tight end for this piece. He holds seven DI offers, but is uncommitted right now.

He's a stout player, standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 225 pounds. Cannon is well-built with quite a bit of muscle, strong hands and a good-sized frame. The 2027 prospect is a good receiver at his hybrid pass-catcher position, but his blocking is nothing to scoff at. He is relatively strong in that area. I think he's going to have a really good senior season that helps earn him more offers.
