2027 Standouts from North Gwinnett vs Grayson CK-DH Classic

The annual Corky Kell - Dave Hunter Classic is one of the Nation's biggest high school football kick offs. High School football is special all around but in Georgia it is a lifestyle to many. One of the most anticipated games in all of the Corky Kell - Dave Hunter Classics was Grayson vs North Gwinnett. North Gwinnett came out fast and never let up while the ball was in Rahman's hands. Early on, he launched the ball deep down field from a flea flicker to complete a big gain on the opening play of the game from scrimmage making an early statement and pulling momentum to their side early and never really gave it back. Rahman went 8-9 passing with 148 yards and 3 touchdowns in the big victory. Hawkins helped set the tone of this game by hauling in that 54-yard reception that would eventually lead to a touchdown shortly after on that very drive. Godfree had a crucial sack among tackles and helped his defense hold Grayson from 0-2 yards in the entire first half of the game. Smith was under so much pressure from start to finish but he still managed to put up numbers of 288 passing yards on 17-27 passing and 3 touchdowns. Do not think for a single second that Grayson is defeated. It's early in the year and they will regroup and build to continue being a major 7A contender.
