2027 Quarterback Follow Up

He started to pick up a nice buzz before his sophomore season. Now, he is a senior who is getting ready to lead his team into another tough 7A season. Quarterbacks have to be leaders in this league. They do not have room to be guys who are not ready to step up to the challenge. Every kid may not be ready for the college level, but in this league, they need to be prepared to face a big challenge every week. Shack is one of those guys who is ready for that.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='934591' first='Kingston' last='Johnson']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is a baller from Starkville who had some good games for his team last year. The Yellow Jackets have a new head coach this season who is looking to do some new things at Starkville. Johnson is going to be able to count on the running game a lot this season when things may not be working in the passing game. Fans are also probably going to see him making more things happen with his feet. This kid is a beast.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='679621' first='Kellen' last='Hall']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hall is one of the best players in 7A. He is committed to Old Dominion. There have been times where we have seen this kid truly put on a show. Last year, he was on fire against Starkville. The threw for over 500 yards in that game. He and Johnson were constantly going at it while trying to make sure their team wins the game. Johnson is a guy who could easily see his stock rise this season, or even once he gets on the college level. This young man can sling it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1241251' first='Chase' last='Craft']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Craft is a kid from Heidelberg with the ability to make things happen with his arms and legs. Fans have seen him do some incredible things on the field. It is looking like he is being recruited to play wide receiver on the next level. His community is pretty upset that he is not one of the guys on the Dandy Dozen list. Expect for that to light a fire in him this season. Heidelberg is lucky to have this guy on their team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
