Get 30% off your first billing cycle with code: OscarGalindo30 in the coupon code area.

The 5th annual Wideouts Camp, hosted by New Orleans Saints WR coach Keith Williams, was another big hit, with over 60 QB/WR/TE prospects in attendance. Coach Williams and the crew put together a camp where players went through positional drills and air routes, allowing QBs and pass catchers to showcase their full skill sets.

Below are some of the players who stood out at Saturday's camp:

(@PaulHart2028)

This was my first in-person evaluation of Lincoln Standing Bear's TE [player_tooltip player_id='1573580' first='Paul' last='Hart'], who is quickly rising among Midwest '28 prospects. Paul is a player who stands out immediately with next-level size at 6'4", 220 pounds, and mixes it with an elite blend of strength and athleticism. Paul moves very well for his size, showing he can stop/start, change direction, and explode out of his breaks. He can elevate to high point the ball, use his length to maximize his catch radius, and is an excellent "hands receiver" who will work his way to the ball. Hart showed he could execute all the routes run during the ROA session and impressed even more by how quickly he applied the coaches' pointers. He can attack all levels of the field and is a threat to break off a few tackles en route to some nice YAC. Expect the P4 offers to continue rolling in for the Grizzlies prospect!

(@Holden_Laird)

Millard North senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='1692207' first='Holden' last='Laird'] has strung together a number of impressive outings this summer, with the wideouts camp being no different. Holden looked good as he moved through position drills, displaying good footwork on his drops, loose hips, and maneuverability around the pocket. He has the arm talent to push the deep ball or rifle passes into small windows, and he possesses great timing on his throws, which allows him to find his receiver in stride. Good job keeping his eyes up and moving through his "progressions" when running through drills. Watch out for Holden to make a run at the Mustang's QB1 role!

(@YanoJones)

The Mustangs have another promising QB prospect to watch in junior [player_tooltip player_id='1215761' first='Yano' last='Jones'], who looks to have taken another big step in his development. Yano looked like he was hitting the weight room pretty hard over the offseason, having added some noticeable bulk to his frame. This easily translated into him being able to put more zip into his passes, especially in the short and intermediate ranges, where he fired passes into tight windows. He throws the deep ball very well, using both excellent placement and touch to get his receiver right under it. Watching him go through the positional drills, I was impressed by Yano's polish in his footwork, mobility, and throwing mechanics. High-ceiling player who is only getting better!

(@aydenwayne_4)

Omaha Westview's [player_tooltip player_id='2248088' first='Ayden' last='Wayne'] is another player who stood out right away for his taller, longer frame. The Wolverine's junior impressed during routes on air, where he might've taken the crown as the best deep threat in attendance. He displays solid explosiveness coming off the ball and has a fast, long stride that helps him build speed quickly. Wayne also does a great job tracking and adjusting to the deep ball. Ayden wasn't just a deep-ball merchant; he also showed the footwork and change of direction to run short- and intermediate-range routes on the outside or in the slot. Massive catch radius, making him a very QB-friendly target wherever he's at.

(@AshtonLarsen_4)

Bellevue West senior [player_tooltip player_id='1085110' first='Ashton' last='Larsen'] looks primed to earn bigger role on the Thunderbirds offense after patiently waiting the past few seasons. Ashton is a very technically sound receiver who does a lot of important things right. He runs routes and completed the position drills, showing off his shifty footwork. He is very sudden in his routes, with the ability to really sink his hips and explode out of his breaks. Ashton, like the receivers mentioned above, is a great hands receiver and did a great job finding his way back to the ball. Larsen projects well as a slot receiver who can "out-twitch" slower DBs and LBs and spring free over the middle of the field. Excited to see how Ashton is used this upcoming season.

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
