Under-the-Radar Class of 2027 Southern Ohio Studs

There aren't many camps and not many games to attend right now, but that doesn't mean we at Prep Redzone are sitting on our hands. On the contrary, we are hard at work. All throughout the summer, we'll be taking a look at some top returning starters and young prospects who will make a big impact as the season rolls around this fall, spotlighting several prospects. Here are four under-the-radar seniors to know:    [player_tooltip player_id='1540521' first='Dajuan' last='Ball'] is a starting defensive lineman for Westerville South and one of Ohio's better defensive line prospects. Great size and strength, big frame, room to grow/add bulk. Strong interior defensive tackle. Good run plugger with a nose for the ball. Has good instincts, consistently wraps up, and holds the point of attack. Hard to move from his spot. Flashes good range and pursuit to the flat.     [player_tooltip player_id='1893916' first='Brennan' last='Kesler'] is a very promising linebacker prospect who is stout v. The run and flashes being a good open-field tackler in the first two games of the season. Good getting downhill. Also strong on kickoff coverage where his pursuit and speed are put to great use. High-academic prospect. Recorded 77 tackles total in 2024; increased production momentously in 2025 with a team-high 125 tackles in 2025.     [player_tooltip player_id='2248444' first='Alex' last='Gragg'] is a great Class of 2027 LB/WR at Xenia. Multipositional prospect. Good outside linebacker and edge setter on defense which is where his college fit likely is. Can stack and shed blocks, good lateral mover and good open-field tackler in the flat. Good hands at WR; think he aligns in a two-point stance off-the-ball LB at the college level.     Keep an eye on Alexander Adams out of Princeton High School who is a speedy slot receiver who can snatch the ball out of the air, take a hit and still come down in possession. Good after the catch. Quickly catches, tucks and gets upfield in a hurry. Has a chance to develop into a good player heading into his senior year.
