PRZVA Team Preview: Osbourn Eagles

Each year the Eagles are tasked with facing Battlefield, Patriot and Gainesville who for sure always plan to be in district title contention. Last fall alone Osbourn took on North Stafford and Colgan in their out of conference schedule and still managed to finish with a .500 record. While Coach Copeland's squad was unfortunately hammered by the graduation and transfer bug, the expectation over in Manassas remains the same for his team. <em>"We're excited about the direction of our program. Our players have put in a tremendous amount of work this offseason, and the buy-in has been outstanding. We have a young but talented group that has embraced our standards and expectations. A quick little scat back who rushed for 5 touchdowns last season, Rodriguez has excellent vision and impressive footwork. He stepped up as a freshman in 2025 with 15 receptions on offense and 4 pass break ups defensively. Rose is active playmaker at linebacker, he knows how to fight through blocks and get to the ball carrier. He is strong and has quick hands, a real pain to block 1v1. Howells has looked good during the 7v7 circuit and I was impressed with how he performed at our Winter showcase. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a young man who has waited patiently for his time and Coach Copeland's staff is excited to have him on board. Howells is a big qb with a cannon but he can move well in the pocket too.
