Ironton 7v7 and Linemen Challenge: Instant Analysis

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ironton High School held their annual 7v7 and linemen challenge at Tanks Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Several teams in Ohio and Kentucky made the trip over to the historic stadium to square off.  The day was filled with several Division I recruits who shined, as well as many under-the-radar players looking for a big senior year. Very good two-way prospect for Boyle County; tight end is his college fit, but I was really impressed with him on defense at OLB where he snagged a couple of interceptions and was hard to get around. Is the total package with his size, length and athleticism.  On offense, he has very good hands and made some very acrobatic catches look easy. Great body adjustment, high-points the ball, has developed into a very good route runner with good burst off the LOS; really looking forward to seeing his senior tape. Love his effort and physicality. Has more of a quiet demeanor but is focused and determined. This year he will be the teams' quarterback and the staff is excited about his potential. Good release and throws a nice, catchable ball. Good arm with good velocity over the middle of the field. Can really roll out and throw on the move well. Scans field well and pulls the trigger, looks very cerebral. Needs to grow a couple of inches. Caught a couple of touchdowns during the team's first game. Strong burst off the LOS. Very explosive and receiver with good breakaway speed. Slot guy at the next level. Great run-after-the-catch ability; turns quickly and gets upfield with good vision, balance and burst. Good hands over the MOF; displays great body adjustment and can win one-on-one balls with his height and ability to high-point the ball.  Not particularly explosive or fast as a route runner or after the catch, but is a good X/Z WO with good hands. Holds four Division II offers; high-academic prospect with a 3.8 GPA.  Lanky frame could use some bulk.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
