2029 Rankings Update: RB

With that in mind, we have begun a new wave of rankings updates in the state of Kentucky. To start things up in this round of updates, we have officially released our updated Top 125 players in the class of 2029. With these updates being published, I will be taking some time to break them down by position. He was one of the most productive ball carriers in the entire state, finishing the year with 230 carries for 1,869 yards and 31 touchdowns in 12 games. Meaux is very difficult to bring down in the open field as he has shown the ability to use spin moves and smooth cuts to make defenders miss along with the contact balance to bounce of defenders with ease without breaking stride. Once he hits the second level, he has shown the burst of speed to break away on long runs. Jayvian also caught eight passes for 80 yards and a touchdown as a freshman. He has very impressive vision in the open field, showing the ability to find cut back lanes and hit them quickly to avoid defenders. When defenders are able to get to him, he has shown the elusiveness to make them miss. Lawson also finished this past season with 11 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and recorded 30 tackles. He led Hazard in rushing this past season, carrying the ball 163 times for 897 yards and 13 touchdowns in 12 games. Miller has explosive speed which he uses to burst into the open field with a sense of urgency the run away from the defense for big gains. He has also shown the strength to break tackles with ease without losing his stride. Cameron also caught seven passes for 95 yards and a touchdown this past season. James is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact to pick up extra yards on a regular basis. He is also impressive in the open field as he has shown the ability to make moves to make defenders miss. James also caught 12 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown, and threw a touchdown pass as a freshman. James had a strong freshman season at Boyd County, leading the team in rushing with 66 carries for 500 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. McDaniels has impressive speed which he uses to accelerate past opposing defenders in the open field to pick up big gains. He also has great vision, showing the patience to find the running lane then hit it with a sense of urgency once he finds it. McDaniels also caught five passes for 28 yards this past season and played a key role at defensive back, recording 49 tackles and a tackle for loss.
