2028 Rankings Release: 5 New Additions to Know

Plenty of new prospects have jumped onto our radar! We had a number make huge leaps into the rankings and will continue to impress this fall. Don't miss out on the following athletes!    I really like where Casen is at in his development currently. The first thing I noted is that he is a true dual-threat guy. He is very comfortable in the pocket, taking a drop and hitting guys with pinpoint accuracy and good timing, but he is also able to improvise when necessary and put the defense in an awkward position to defend his arm and legs. The QB run is always a staple at Rockford, and Casen has displayed the ability to do it at a high level. I am extremely excited to follow his development over the next couple of years.     Andrew has the talent and frame to be as great as he wants to be! He currently stands at 6'7 with broad shoulders, and will obviously continue to fill out. On top of that, he still moved pretty well considering his length, and still has the power to anchor down in pass protection, and move mass in the run game. Duda is aggressive and physical and as he continues to sharpen his technique, I believe he will draw significant interest at the next level.     After seeing both in person and film performances, I am all in on Kiernan-I am absolutely a believer. Riddle is built incredibly well, and possesses great change of direction, power and contact balance. Between the tackles, he runs behinds his pads, absorbs contact and will continue chopping his legs and maximize each and every run. Out in space, he has a deceptive burst that allows him to catch defenders in pursuit off guard and allows him to make guys miss. His good vision is obvious and you can't miss his natural instinct as a runner. With the graduation of some other extremely productive backs, Riddle will see a major increase in his workload, and I believe he's up for the task.     Cortez makes his debut in our rankings! While I think WR is his biggest strength, I think he could be a weapon out of the backfield, as well as a dependable corner or safety on the other side of the ball. His natural speed and fluid hips are obvious. He changes direction on a dime and can win separation at the top of his route. Once the ball comes his way, it's showtime. Lucas is able to go up and get it over defenders and his concentration and ball tracking is well beyond most others. At a place like Cass Tech, he will have to continue to work hard to get more reps on varsity, but he is on a good trajectory to do just that!     Andrew is about as physical and nasty as they come on the defensive line. He is almost always the first one out of his stance and creates a ton of problems for slower offensive linemen. He can control a gap and maintain his leverage, or he can use swim moves or flat-out strength to get into the backfield, making him a TFL monster. I think he's athletic enough to also slide outside and use some bend and speed to set the edge and rush the passer from the outside as well, making him even more versatile. Herd was absolutely worthy of a spot in our rankings, and I predict he will have a big-time season in 2026!
