X3 Impact Summer Training: Top Standouts

There was an abundance of talent at the Boost Fitness Center in Nashville on Thursday evening as X3 Impact hosted their Summer training program. Prep Redzone Tennessee was fortunate enough to sit in on all of the action, catching a ton of talented prospects putting in work. Following all of the positional training, here's my list of the top standouts to showcase their skillset.    In the first place spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='2172858' first='Ethan' last='Raspberry'], a defensive back at Pope John Paul II. On top of excellent size and a great wingspan, Raspberry caught my attention with his strong execution. Raspberry displayed great footwork and speed on every rep. This talented rising senior could be a big problem this upcoming season.     I was additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='1614247' first='Mason' last='Bonner'], a tight end/linebacker at Ensworth. Bonner was impossible to ignore during receiver training, proving his ability to execute with efficiency and consistently be in the right place at the right time to make the clutch grab. Another aspect of Bonner that colleges will really like is his size and wingspan.     Claiming the number three spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='2086906' first='Brayden' last='Colbert'], a defensive back at Battle Ground Academy. Colbert was locked in during positional training, proving himself as one of the more athletic and versatile prospects in the building. In addition to a great frame and a solid wingspan, I really liked Colbert's footwork and outstanding breakaway speed. Colbert is due for a big 2026 season with the Wildcats.     Another player to show out was [player_tooltip player_id='1307126' first='K.J.' last='Baker'], a running back at Brentwood Academy. Baker was one of the more intriguing prospects in the building on Thursday evening as he crushed it every rep during running back drills. In addition to outstanding size, Baker showcased strong footwork and explosive speed. The incoming freshman already holds an offer from Miami-Ohio.     Another top tier prospect to catch my attention was [player_tooltip player_id='1654341' first='Jaxon' last='Hopkins'], a defensive back at Ensworth. Hopkins was easily one of the top prospects in attendance, making the most of every single one of his reps. On top of a great frame and a strong wingspan, Hopkins stood out with his explosive speed, showing off outstanding quickness during both warm-ups and positional training.     Also making his presence known was [player_tooltip player_id='2166511' first='Kyler' last='Osan'], a defensive lineman at Lipscomb Academy. Osan showcased his skillset with the running backs, proving he has great footwork and the ability to pick up speed, which will come in handy at the line of scrimmage. I also really liked Osan's size and strength. The incoming freshman will be an intriguing prospect to watch as he begins his freshman season this fall.     I also really liked what I saw from [player_tooltip player_id='1307084' first='Ace' last='Eschenburg'], an athlete at Lipscomb Academy. Eschenburg was locked in from start to finish, showcasing excellent footwork and strong movement on all of his reps. I was also impressed with Eschenburg's speed and ability to show off his juking ability during running back drills. The incoming freshman will be an exciting prospect for the Mustangs to watch out for this upcoming fall.     Also worth mentioning is [player_tooltip player_id='2119533' first='Antonio' last='Cunningham'], a running back at Liberty Creek High School. Cunningham shined during positional drills, proving his ability to be shifty on the ground and use bursts of speed to crush all of his reps. The talented prospect out of the Gallatin area will be another exciting playmaker to keep an eye on next season.     Another player to catch my eye was Lincoln Gleason, a wide receiver at Nolensville High School. Gleason was one of the speedier receivers, proving his ability to quickly get down field and get in prime position for the catch. I also liked Gleason's versatile edge, showcasing his ability to elevate off the ground to haul in the clutch deep pass. This talented rising junior will be interesting to watch this upcoming fall.     Also showing out during positional drills was Mason Ford, a quarterback at Ensworth. On top of great size and strong footwork, I really liked Ford's ability to drop back and immediately get the ball into the air. Ford's arm strength and pin-point accurate passing was another facet of his game that impressed. The incoming freshman out of the Nashville area will be worth keeping an eye on as he continues to develop.
