It has been a busy June as we roll into the last day of the month, with numerous outstanding camp-combine performances that resulted in offers.

We are now shifting gears to the Dead Period for recruiting, which started June 23 and will run through July 31.

As a reminder, during this time, coaches cannot have in-person contact, evaluations, or off-campus visits with recruits.

Digital communication (texts, DMs, calls) is still allowed, and high school players can continue attending college prospect camps or taking unofficial visits on their own.

For the ballers working to be elite it means the same grind, with less distractions for putting the finishing touches on their off-season work.

In this report, we are taking a look at a couple of senior athletes who have had standout June performances, which have resulted in not only significant next-level attention, but actual offers; followed by three junior ballers who have been turning heads this off-season and are ready to shift their game into overdrive this fall.

So, without further adieu, let's check out what's new with these guys:

[player_tooltip player_id='1125656' first='Kobie' last='Henley'] , 6'3”, 185, ATH/DB, Salina South, ‘27, [PICTURED ABOVE] - it has been a busy off-season for this secondary athlete who can play as a quick-twitch, lock-down corner or sink back as a ballhawk safety. With next-level size, length, and 4.5 speed he is coming off a year when he helped his team go deep into the playoffs while contributing 82 tackles and a pair of TFL. He is also more than a cover guy as once he reads run and collapses on the ball he is a violent hitter. Earlier in June he had a good performance at the K-State camp and then a week later received an offer from Morningside. This summer he is focused on fine-tuning mechanics and technical defensive-back training as well as optimizing footwork, burst and lateral speed. He has also been lifting hard in the school's training program and providing senior leadership to a squad looking to use last year as a springboard for a big season in 2026. This guy is going to dominate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1556861' first='Wes' last='Riegel'] , 6'3”, 195, WR/ATH, Blue Valley North, ‘27, next up is another senior who has had a strong off-season, traveling to South Dakota in March and then earlier in June parlayed a powerful camp performance at Lindenwood into an offer from Drake, which he officially committed to recently. The Bulldogs are getting a versatile, hybrid receiver with D1-size, extended catch radius and sticky, dependable hands. He can play any of the receiver positions, split wide, in tight, on the wing, in the slot or as an H-back and has developed into a pounding blocker in the run game as well as stalking on the perimeter. He is athletic enough to create immediate separation off the ball, using leverage and technique and selling every step before rolling into precise route running. He has also been getting in plenty of field work as well, working 1v1's and route timing with teammates. This guy is prepped and ready for a standout senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1080736' first='Edric' last='Zorn'] , 6'0, 200, RB/LB, Halstead, '28, up first for the juniors is a multi-positional baller who can impact the game in all three phases: as a versatile back with great burst on offense, as a linebacker or hybrid safety on defense and as a dangerous return man who had a 94-yard return for a TD on special teams. His off-season continues to burn the candle at both ends as he had another successful 7v7 season this spring, just wrapped up track, going to state in the sprints, and has continued to take his game to the next level training with local legend Coach Tabor and PIA to get prepared for another big season. He has also had a busy June as he kicked things off the last day of May with a good showing at the SMU Camp and then this month performed well at the William Jewell and Missouri camps. After a sophomore season of almost 1,000 total yards, 10 TDs, 50 tackles and a big off-season, look for him to be en fuego this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1616521' first='Oliver' last='Kline'] , 6'2, 180, DB/WR, Emporia, '28, next up for the juniors is another three-way baller who put an exclamation point on a strong sophomore season last fall when he intercepted a pass in the endzone and ran it back for a sizzling 102-yard pick-6 TD. When the dust settled last fall he had 31 tackles, a pair of tackles for loss, two interceptions, and added 350+ all-purpose yards running, receiving and returning kicks. With great read and react skills and impressive closing speed, he flies to the ball and makes plays in a hurry. After wrapping up baseball in the spring he launched right into summer with a strong showing at the You Are Athlete All-American Showcase in Houston and most recently performed well at the STB Camp last week. He has also been lifting and continuing speedwork, and recently showed his explosiveness with a 37" vertical and a 9'6" broad jump. This guy is just getting warmed up and is ready for a big fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='884942' first='A'Keem' last='Anderson'] , WR/ATH, 5'11”, 175, Salina Central, ‘28, and last but certainly not least we have a rising-star wide receiver who is coming off a state-championship season a year ago when he hauled in 43 passes for just under a thousand yards in receiving and scored a dozen touchdowns along the way to help weaponize the team's passing game. As a wideout or moving into the slot he uses his athleticism, quick feet and burst off the ball to create instant separation, find soft spots in coverage and burn teams down the sidelines. He also has outstanding hands and can make the contested catch going over the middle or high-point the ball in the end zone. This spring he had a strong 7v7 season with the Kansas Colts, has been training with Sharp Performance and was busy on the camp circuit, going to Washburn and K-State earlier in the month and the STB Camp last week. This baller is going to bring the fireworks this fall.

In conclusion, get out and see these guys dominate this fall - you will not be disappointed. Also, DM me via X if you run across any players flying under the radar.

And, as usual…

Keep grindin'

It has been a busy June as we roll into the last day of the month, with numerous outstanding camp-combine performances that resulted in offers.
