UWEC Big Man Camp: All-Camp Team OL

*Don't miss out on the chance to save 30% on a Prep Redzone subscription with code Johnson30*   The 2026 UWEC Big Man Camp has come and gone, and the staff at UW- Eau Claire once again outdid themselves. 170+ OL and DL came out to compete in the padded event in front of dozens of college coaches, recruiters, and scouts. Prep Redzone has been lucky enough to cover this growing event every single year, and we can confidently say this was the best yet. Offers were earned, connections made, and hopefully a thing or two learned by the athletes. To recap the event we are going to award our All Camp Teams for OL, DL, and then we will do separate ones for the underclassmen as well. We start on the offensive side of the ball with the All Camp Team of the upperclassmen OL. These were the stars of the day. Let's talk about them!   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">First Team OL</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='1702441' first='Nate' last='Sheridan'], 2027- Randolph (MN):   Nate made the trip to UWEC from Randolph, MN and made sure to make it worth every minute of travel. The MN native checked every box. He passed the eye test with his 6'3" 290 lbs frame and elite 6'10" wingspan. Mostly importantly, Nate was a force in 1v1s with the pads on. Run game reps we saw Nate really settle in. He is an OL who can sink his hips and pair his length with leverage and that dominant leg drive to bulldoze DL off the line of scrimmage. Sheridan proved to be more than a one trick pony too, showing he can fluid and agile on his feet in pass pro to mirror pass rushers and used his length and powerful anchor to stuff any DL trying to win with power. Nate is a massive 2027 OL with traits that will translate to the next level. Nate's day ended with an offer from Augustana, followed by UWEC and Augsburg in the days following. No doubt a Top 5 performance among OLs.   [player_tooltip player_id='1690167' first='Chase' last='Schams'], 2027- Aquinas (WI):   Chase was a standout among Group 1 of OL at the UWEC Big Man Camp. The big man checked in at 6'1" 300 lbs with a fantastic 6'5" wingspan. A frame that is built to dominate on the interior at the next level. Chase plays with devastating power. A trait that shined on so many of his 1v1 reps. We saw the leg drive as he ran DL off the line in board drills. The rising 2027 OL also demonstrated how impactful his upper body strength is as he threw DL to the ground multiple times and did it without putting himself in position to risk holding. The way that Chase was able to fly out of his stance and meet DL with power the instant he made contact separated the Aquinas athlete from the crowd. His performance added an offer from Augsburg to his list of offers.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/scham84423/status/2064719408535146830 </div></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1629862' first='Matthew' last='Babatz'], 2027- Buffalo (MN):   Matthew has really seen his recruitment take off since June started. He has four offers since the 8th, two of which came after his showing at the UWEC Big Man Camp. The 6'1" 265 lbs '27 OL brings a 6'2" wingspan to the field and the power necessary to be a difference maker on the interior of the OL. That power flexed over and over in the different 1v1 battles. His ability to quick set and set a strong anchor showed up in my notes on multiple reps, and he also had a very imrepssive board drill rep vs one of the best DL at the competition where he was able to get underneath the chin of his man, keep his hands inside, and then let that lower body strength to the rest. Babatz is an interior OL talent that is on the rise and doesn't seem to be done with earning offers yet.   [player_tooltip player_id='2226720' first='Ethan' last='Tran'], 2027- Centennial (MN):   Coming in at 5'11" 280 lbs with a 6'2" wingspan was [player_tooltip player_id='2226720' first='Ethan' last='Tran'] of Centennial over in Minnesota. Ethan made a lot of noise among Group 2 with his play while battling through 1 v 1s. Even before the pads went on the 2027 was putting together noteworthy reps. In the county fair circuit I was impressed by how fluid and agile the 280+ lbs athlete was able to burst, slide, and react/change direction. Ethan carries that big upper body very well. Then the pads went on and Ethan was a force in the trenches. The 2027 OL was able to generate some loud pops thanks to his quickness off the snap and ability to drive his legs through contact the instant he met the DL. That power was too much for many of the DL he faced as he was able to instantly drive them backwards in board drills without losing much of any momentum. Ethan is a difference maker to keep a close eye on this summer and fall.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/TranEthan77/status/2064569014383218892 </div></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1668347' first='Cole' last='Carl'], 2027- Brookfield Central (WI):   One of the biggest and baddest OL in attendance was the Brookfield Central OL [player_tooltip player_id='1668347' first='Cole' last='Carl']. The 6'3" 310 lbs 2027 has a 6'4" wingspan to top off that prototypical frame. It was clear that the coaching staffs in attendance wanted to test the big man out of Brookfield Central as they hand picked several of his 1v1 matchups. The 2027 left no doubt that he was up for the challenge of taking on the most physical DL. Carl's massive frame is supported by next level strength that could stand up DL. Cole is an OL who can create devastating initial contact with the power he delivers at first contact. He was also someone who leaned on sound technique, keeping a wide base and accurate inside hand placement. Cole has earned multiple D2 offers earlier this spring and added an Eau Claire offer following his camp performance. Big things are ahead for the BC OL.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/ColeCarl09/status/2065161260153405802 </div></figure>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Second Team</h2>   Westyn Schuetz, 2027- Waunakee (WI):   Westyn plays with a frame that you have to do some projection with. He currently sits at 6'3" 247 lbs with a 6'3" wingspan. While that is on the lighter side, Westyn maintains plenty of space to add another 35-40 lbs during his time at the college level. What he brings right now is an athletic array of traits. Schuetz is an athlete who fires out of his stance with low pad level and pairs the two together to be able to meet DL, get underneath them, and stuff their forward momentum. We also saw a handful of reps where Westyn not only stood up DL, but was able to show he could generate a push in his favor. The Group 1 standout didn't need to have that fully finished frame to be able to win reps in UWEC, getting us excited for what his future will hold as he continues to grow and add strength.   Anthony Toliver, 2027- Kimberly (WI):   The OL out of powerhouse Kimberly HS put together a great evening in Eau Claire. Checking in at 6' 260 lbs with a 6'4" wingspan, Anthony looked the part of a future IOL. Anthony's day went far beyond passing the eye test too. Over and over the 2027 IOL out of Kimberly caught my attention with how quickly he moved around the field. It was easy and natural for him to move, slide, mirror, and change direction. What gives me confidence he has a future at the next level is how effectively he was able to transition that athleticism into power on contact with DL. Anthony brings size, range, agility, and power to the position. Coaches, don't wait to get on this kid. He is a difference maker on the interior.   Jacob Harris, 2027- Oak Creek (WI):   Another 2027 OL who turned his Big Man Camp efforts into an offer from UWEC is Oak Creek's Jacob Harris. The 6'1" 256 lbs 2027 OL was a big surprise for me on the day. The big man can move. He was very quick out of his stance and in drills that let him show off his range or flex his ability to move laterally while engaged with the DL and still create a positive surge he stood out from the crowd. Jacob is an OL who plays light on his feet, but is no slouch when it comes to power. Jacob was a member of Group 1 for the OL where he had to take on the best of a loaded DL group. In those battles not only did Harris show that he can stay square in front of his man, but also set a strong anchor that absorbed the bull rush from the top power DL in attendance. This was a great display of talent from Jacob and it earned him his second offer of the offseason. I'm expecting more to follow as the summer rolls on.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JacobH54_/status/2065204024081551472 </div></figure>   Jackson Zolper, 2027- New Berlin West (WI):   One of the premier frames of the event was New Berlin West OT Jackson Zolper. The 2027 OT is 6'4" 272 lbs, and brings a 6'6" wingspan to the field. The raw tools jumped off the field. For being such a long and thick athlete Jackson was extremely light on his feet. He was so quick to get depth in pass pro battles to cut off speed rush attempts. The rising OT used his length to his advantage really well with well timed strikes and accurate punches. It is also well worth noting that the '27 carries that 272 lbs easily and looks like he has the room to comfortably add a decent chunk more weight to his frame to only make him more impactful with his power. Jackson Zolper is a name to know in a special 2027 OL group.   Will Clements, 2027- West Salem (WI):   Will has been active early in the camp season. He was a standout at the Lake Show Mega Camp a few days before the Big Man Mega Camp and carried that momentum over to UWEC. The 6' 286 lbs 2027 has a 6'3" wingspan to round an a frame that is built to suit up at one of the IOL positions. The talent and traits match the job too. Will is an OL who repeatedly flexes his ability to quick set and drop his hips to provide a stout anchor. He has a knack for absorbing power and negating it without giving up ground. It is also very noteworthy that he was able to do that not only rep to rep but camp to camp. Will is as consistent as he is talented.
