To continue building hype for the upcoming release, I wanted to highlight some of the players who have impressed in my personal film evaluations. I hope to see more of these guys this summer, either at camps, practices, scrimmages, etc., but you college coaches should get out and check them out ASAP!

As we progress through camp season and summer evaluations, make sure to add these five seniors to your prospect list.

(@Liam6Gallagher6)

Lincoln Northeast's [player_tooltip player_id='1219130' first='Liam' last='Gallagher'] has been hard at work this offseason, and that's paid off with an uptick in his recruitment recently. Liam projects well on both sides of the ball, and although he had limited touches offensively, he had a great season defensively, tallying 31 tackles, 7 TFLs, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. On offense, Liam's 6'6" frame with a massive catch radius makes him an instant matchup nightmare, add in his ability to elevate to the high point and you have a danerous pass catcher. He also has some bulk to his frame with room to continue adding mass, which is always useful when used as an in-line blocking TE. Defensively, I can see Liam at multiple spots, including OLB or as a hands-down defensive end who can use his combination of length and quickness to win his matchups coming off the edge. He has a very quick first step and uses his length well when extending to press linemen off him. Gallagher plays with a nonstop motor that keeps him running from snap to whistle, and he constantly moves his hands as he tries to disengage from blockers. He has a surprising lateral burst that helps him close on the ball in a flash. Solid run defender who can set the edge and can fit inside gaps as well. Liam has already shown the talent to compete at the next level, and it seems he's still only scratching the surface of his upside!

(@JustinBarnesJr)

The Millard North Mustangs add a big playmaker to their already stacked secondary with Bell West transfer, [player_tooltip player_id='1085111' first='Justin' last='Barnes']. I don't have official stats from Justin's junior season, but from watching his tape, it's clear that he has next-level upside. Justin is a fluid defensive back who plays with great mobility and instincts when in coverage. He flashes a high football IQ as he quickly picks up on receivers' routes and has a good feel for when to get his hands up to defend the pass or try to snag it for himself. Justin moves well in coverage, starting with clean footwork through his backpedal, loose hips when changing direction, and good closing speed. Another aspect of Barnes' game that stands out is that you can put him anywhere in the secondary, including cornerback, nickel/slot, and safety. Impressive physicality, both when challenging receivers at the catch point and when stepping up to make a stop in run support. I'm looking forward to seeing how Justin's talents will be used with the Mustangs, with several opportunities available at DB or receiver.

(@Garrettschi)

Fremont's [player_tooltip player_id='1091787' first='Garrett' last='Schinning'] is a very interesting prospect going into his senior year as he's set to step into the QB1 role, but should receive recruiting looks at DB. Schinning had limited playing time as a junior, appearing in only seven games, but managed to tally 15 tackles, a TFL, and three interceptions. To start, Garrett has a solid frame for the DB position at 6'1" and 175 pounds with great length to help pester opposing receivers. He's also a fluid athlete who displays quick footwork and loose hips, which helps him change direction and stick with receivers during their routes. Another aspect of Schinning's game that stood out was his ball skills, as he did a great job tracking the ball in the air and has the hands to either force a pick or a PBU. Willing to get physical with receivers and can challenge at the catch point. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Garrett offensively this summer/fall, but for now, his defense tape already warrants college attention!

(@PCleveland27)

Any Class B teams breathing a sigh of relief that Waverly will not have Axmann toting the rock should slow down and look at incoming senior [player_tooltip player_id='1708581' first='Payton' last='Cleveland']. Payton looks set to take over RB1 duties after serving as a backup last season and totaling 301 yards and a touchdown on 57 carries. When you watch Payton, you see a sturdy and strong back who can handle the toll of wearing defenses out between the tackles, while also having some juice and springiness to bounce runs to the outside for a solid gain. He showed the patience to follow his blockers and possesses solid vision when looking for opening creases. Cleveland does a great job of keeping his pad level consistent and making sure his strong legs drive while taking on tackles, making him very difficult to bring down on initial contact. Strong, balanced runner with tons of tread still on the tires. Could be a breakout star on a loaded Vikings roster!

(@BMausbach33)

The Crimson Pride should field a pretty stingy defense in 2026 with several key returning players, including two-way trench warrior [player_tooltip player_id='1699812' first='Ben' last='Mausbach']. Ben stood out on both sides of the ball for Roncalli as a junior, but seems to have a higher ceiling on defense, where he tallied 48 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, and two sacks. Ben is the type of defender who can give a QB happy feet in the pocket with consistent pressure or be a thorn in the RB's side. He brings a tireless motor to the field, coupled with ball-tracking and lateral quickness that seem to get him near the ball on most plays. Ben showed that he can win his 1v1s with either brute strength or a little finesse, depending on his matchup. Mausbach is very springy coming out of his stance and has a powerful base and a heavy initial punch that help him bull rush his way into opposing backfields. Mausbach showed he can effectively use his hands when hand-fighting with blockers, either using them violently to quickly disengage or working them inside to gain better leverage. Ben also showed enough shiftiness and twitch to help him beat slower blockers with some speed moves. Good finisher at the ball who can deliver big hits while maintaining good technique. Very disruptive in opposing backfields and can force plays to go wherever he isn't. Expect a solid debut for Ben in the upcoming 2027 rankings update!

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
