Recruiting Roundup: Northern Indiana Prospects Picking Up Steam

Why more Division I teams haven't offered the 6-foot-1, 210-pound safety from South Bend St. Joseph is perplexing to me. Criniti has outstanding closing speed, great ball skills, plays well in phase and times the ball well with his hands to break up passes. He is a physical offensive tackle who drives his feet on contact, displays a great initial punch, physical blocker who can pancake defenders. Really impressed with his arm length and athleticism. I think he moves to guard at the next level. The 6-foot-4, 228-pound Woodson recorded 60 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles and 18 tackles last season. With his skills as a pass rusher and run defender, he is a legitimate Division I prospect.
