He has good speed, vision and athleticism as a kick returner, at defensive back he can be an absolute ballhawk, undercutting routes and breaking up passes. Criniti, who will be a four-year varsity starter, had 108 tackles for eight interceptions and 701 all-purpose yards last season.

Criniti has excellent range and instincts as a run defender, and he flashes very good closing speed from his perch at safety. I love his motor and relentless effort. In coverage, he can high-point the ball and has good use-of-hands to break up and pick off passes. He recorded 108 tackles and eight interceptions last season.
