He is quick to get downhill, makes great open-field tackles, wraps up and can deliver heavy hits. He holds just two offers, his second came from Ohio Wesleyan after a solid summer camp showing. The potential for Npaier is through the roof. Fast and with a quick first step, he takes great angles to the ball, has a relentless motor and sheds blocks like a knife through butter. Through 11 games last fall, he recorded 53 total tackles, four sacks, and five tackles for loss. Tall, strong, and very athletic, Thomas has a quick release, live arm, hits receivers in stride on deep passes, and throws a nice, catchable ball. I love his touch on the deep ball in-particular. Scans the field well, mobile enough to elude rushers and buy time. He threw for 1,042 passing yards and 12 touchdowns; I'm expecting bigger things in 2026.
