Norris 7v7 Tournament | Seward Standouts

There were nine different teams in attendance and 10 teams in total (Norris V and JV) that filled up the stadium with high-flying action from start to finish. The next team I'm looking at are the Seward Bluejays who fielded a young squad, but one with a ton of upside!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are the Seward players who stood out:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":2236339,"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a40a5ac648f9"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Seward has had a solid run of QBs recently and that streak looks safe with junior [player_tooltip player_id='2236339' first='Brayden' last='Bremer'] coming through the pipeline. This was my first in-person look at the Seward prospect and was impressed with what he showed throughout the day. There are still some raw areas of Brayden's game but the upside is there, especially with his ability to make correct reads as he read the defense. This growing skill allows him to make smart throws that can keep the chains moving while also minimizing risk. Solid arm strength to get the ball to all levels and threw some sharp passes into tight windows. Kade is a rangy safety who sees the field well and can break on the ball quickly. He gets to the ball with physical intentions as he's willing to get up to challenge passes at the catch point. He has good lateral quickness that allows him to get from sideline to sideline along with the ability to get depth in coverage when he sees a long pass coming. Although it was a non-contact event, Kade showed that he is able to break down, get square, and cut off ball carriers for the stop. Riley seems to have a good connection with QB Bremer and that was evident as he was constantly looking for Jacobsen on key downs or when looking for his safety blanket target. Jacobsen is very effective in the short and intermediate range of the field as he can use his quick twitch and route running skills to create separation from defenders. Everhett has next-level size and length that college coaches will seek on the recruiting trail. His size and massive catch radius could lead to him being used as a nightmare matchup in the redzone as he can also easily elevate over defenders to high point the ball.
