Norris 7v7 Tournament | Aurora Standouts

The main thing that stands out about Wyatt's game is that he has the arm talent for the next level. Throughout the day, he made several spectacular throws, layering the ball over defenders to drop it right into his receiver's hands. He showed that he can read defenses very well with how quickly he can work through his progressions and make smart decisions with the ball. Malakai is a player who stood out immediately with next-level size at the linebacker position. Once you get him moving, you're even more impressed as he displays great lateral quickness, quick change of direction, and sharp instincts. He does a great job lurking in the middle of the field, where he can analyze offenses and read the QB's eyes. Once he keys in on his target, Malakai displays a quick break on the ball and gets there ready to defend the pass. He stands out with a 6'4", 205-pound frame that can definitely add more bulk without compromising his athleticism. I was very impressed with his coverage skills as he did a great job flowing between the second level and secondary, even baiting a QB into an interception that he returned for a TD. Great lateral quickness with sideline-to-sideline range. He is a very shifty receiver who can use his agility and quick change of direction to fly past defenders and create separation at the top of his route. He also does a great job finding soft spots in coverage and can sit those zones to give his QB an open target. Kash has solid hands, which showed as he made a number of contested catches, and the concentration to make catches in traffic.
