This was my first in-person look at Aurora’s Wyatt Pollet Wyatt Pollet 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Aurora | 2027 State NE , and I left very impressed with his overall performance. The main thing that stands out about Wyatt’s game is that he has the arm talent for the next level. Throughout the day, he made several spectacular throws, layering the ball over defenders to drop it right into his receiver’s hands. He showed that he can read defenses very well with how quickly he can work through his progressions and make smart decisions with the ball. In a regular game, Wyatt has become known for gashing defenses as a dual-threat, and although we didn’t get to see that in the 7v7 format, he still impressed with his mobility when evading pressure.

It was quite the season for dual-threat QB Wyatt Pollet Wyatt Pollet 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Aurora | 2027 State NE , who made an immediate impact in his first season with the Aurora Huskies. Wyatt gashed defenses with his arm and legs as he ended the year with 1,167 passing yards, 1,156 rushing yards, nine passing touchdowns, and nine rushing touchdowns. As a passer, Wyatt looks very smooth, throwing the ball with a natural release that can deliver it with great zip. He can connect on passes to all three levels of the field and flashed the ability to make accurate passes to the outside and into tight windows between the seams. Pollet displays great poise in the pocket with the mobility to maneuver around pass rushers while keeping his eyes downfield scanning for open targets. Wyatt is a gritty runner who is hard to catch and even harder to bring down. He has a twitchy change of direction that allows him to elude defenders in the open field and underrated speed to break away. Wyatt won’t go down on initial contact as he’ll look to dish out a stiff arm or keep his legs pumping as he fights through tackle attempts. Sleeper QB who is only starting to scratch the surface of his potential!
