Camp season officially kicked off at Jacksonville State, and the QB House Bus Tour wasted no time getting to work. With college coaches evaluating and competition everywhere, several prospects used Day One to make strong first impressions and build momentum heading into the rest of the tour.

Noah Walstad | QB | 2027 | Boca Ciega | @Noahwqb

Walstad looked exactly like a quarterback trying to separate himself from the crowd. At 6-5, the size is obvious, but it was the consistency that stood out. He drove the football outside the numbers, layered throws over defenders, and looked comfortable attacking different areas of the field. When coaches walked by, he was hard to miss. If he strings together a summer like this, his recruitment is going to look much different heading into the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2089742' first='Josiah' last='Carter'] | QB | 2029 | ZCA | @carterjojo5

For a rising freshman, Carter doesn't panic when the picture changes. He was comfortable taking coaching, resetting his feet, and getting the ball out on time throughout the day. The arm strength will continue to come as he matures physically, but what stood out was his natural feel for the position. The game appears to slow down for him. He carries himself with confidence, trusts his eyes, and already shows traits that are difficult to teach at his age.

[player_tooltip player_id='690863' first='Myles' last='McDonald'] | QB | 2027 | CDS | @813_mcdonald

The ball jumps off McDonald's hand differently. Even during periods where receivers weren't finishing plays consistently, he continued to put the football in catchable spots. The lefty showed improved timing, cleaner footwork, and looked more polished than he did a year ago. What used to be raw talent is starting to look like a quarterback understanding how to play the position. He helped himself on Day One.

Brayden Himelright | QB | 2027 | Sickles | @BraydenHim8

Himelright made several throws that forced coaches to watch. He was aggressive when opportunities presented themselves and trusted his arm throughout the workout. The confidence level appears much higher than previous viewings, and that's translating into better overall play. He's still one of those quarterbacks that doesn't get talked about enough, but performances like this start changing that.

KJ Roos | QB | 2028 | Durant | @KJ_Roos

Roos looked comfortable and confident throughout the day. At roughly 6-foot-2, he brings solid size while continuing to showcase a fundamentally sound game. He doesn't force throws, stays under control, and consistently makes smart decisions. The growth from last year's bus tour was noticeable.

[player_tooltip player_id='2163675' first='Ty' last='Lee'] | QB | 2029 | Calvary Christian | @Ty_LeeQb1

Lee looked much improved during competition periods. His mechanics are cleaner, his confidence is growing, and the ball is coming out with more authority. The young quarterback continues trending in the right direction and showed flashes of why he's becoming a name to watch in the 2029 class.

Cameron Waddington | QB | 2028 | Countryside | @Cam_wadd2028

Waddington showed off his size and arm talent on Day One. At 6-foot-2, he has the physical tools coaches look for and flashed the ability to make throws at multiple levels. As his consistency continues to improve, the upside becomes easier to see.

Raiden Dutt | QB | 2028 | Cypress Creek | @RaidenDuttQB1

Dutt continues to trend in the right direction. Clocked at 4.65 40 time today showing off the raw athleticism. He looked comfortable throughout the day, throwing with confidence and showing the ability to push the ball downfield. A productive bus tour could help him generate more recruiting attention heading into the fall.

Steven LeBlanc | QB | 2029 | St. Stephen's Episcopal | @StevenLeBlanc29

LeBlanc continues to stack performances that will build confidence for the fall season. He showed good timing, touch, and confidence throughout the workout while competing against older prospects. The athleticism is there, and his comfort level continues to grow each time out. Plenty of upside moving forward.

Jordan Calvin | QB | 2027 | Gibbs | @imjordancalvin9

Calvin put together a strong overall performance. The big-framed quarterback threw with rhythm and confidence throughout the workout, showing solid command and improved consistency. A productive day that helped his stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='1600757' first='Mason' last='Summer'] | QB | 2027 | Booker | @masonsummer08

Summer continues to impress with how he operates. Accurate, poised, and efficient throughout the workout. He understands where to go with the football and consistently puts receivers in position to make plays.

Blaze Neely | QB | 2027 | Mortimer Jordan | @NeelyBlaze

Neely has the size colleges want and showed he can really spin it. The arm talent jumped out quickly, and he put together a solid day throwing the football.

Maxwell Beaumont | ATH | 2027 | Briarwood Christian | @18MaxwellB

Beaumont competed hard all day and made the most of his opportunities. Confident athlete who wanted reps and continued to improve as the day went on. Left a positive impression.
