He's already built like an interior lineman and carries the weight well. He has good length, a solid first step, and moves better than you'd expect for a player his size. The physical tools jump out immediately, but there are some encouraging football traits there too. He plays hard, brings a strong motor every snap, and competes through the whistle. He has strong hands and shows the ability to thrive in the run game by staying engaged and working defenders where he wants them to go. There's a toughness to the way he plays that stands out. Once that strength starts to come, I think it will really round out his game. He moves well for a young lineman and looks comfortable getting out in space as a lead blocker. He's fairly nimble and doesn't play stiff, which allows him to adjust and stay under control when working to the second level. The movement skills are already there. He plays with good instincts and strikes me as a smart player who understands what he's being asked to do. In the run game, he can get out in front and lead the way. His footwork in pass protection is also encouraging for a younger lineman, and he looks comfortable setting up and staying balanced through reps. The experience he gained early should pay off down the road. He moves well laterally, slides his feet effectively, and doesn't look rushed when defenders try to work across his face. One thing that stands out is how rarely he gets caught on his heels. He stays balanced, keeps a solid base underneath him, and uses his strong hands to control defenders once engaged. There's a lot of value in linemen who consistently do the little things right, and Caswell is one of those guys on the right path.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
