Faulkner University (NAIA) in Montgomery, AL, hosted its second prospect camp on Saturday morning at Billy D. Hillyer Stadium. It was a talented group of prospects competing to learn and potentially earn an offer from the homestanding Eagles. Here were the offensive skill standouts from Saturday's camp!

Few players looked as comfortable moving through drills as 2027 Stewart's Creek (TN) RB Jayden McKnight. His testing numbers were impressive with a 4.29 shuttle, 4.59 40, and 6.8 L Drill, but what stood out to me was how naturally those traits translated onto the field. McKnight navigated bag work with ease, showing quick feet and the ability to redirect fluidly. His cuts were sharp, and he consistently got back up to speed in a hurry after changing direction. Whether working laterally or getting north and south, McKnight's athleticism was apparent throughout the camp. By the end of the day, he had a strong case as one of the top overall athletes in attendance.

There were several talented running backs in attendance, but 2027 Auburn RB Jaylen Huff was one of the more intriguing prospects I watched throughout the day. Huff has a well-developed build and looked the part physically from the moment he stepped on the field. He backed that up with solid testing numbers, posting a 4.47 shuttle and 4.7 40, while moving fluidly throughout drills. What caught my attention most was how comfortable Huff looked operating in space for a bigger-bodied back. He flashed good receiving ability during drills and 1-on-1s, showing the potential to be a factor in the passing game as well as between the tackles. Defenders had a difficult time matching his cutting ability and change of direction in isolated situations, which helped him create separation throughout the workout.

2027 North Bay Haven (FL) RB Sean Williams Jr. may not have been the biggest back in attendance, but he found plenty of ways to stand out during the workout. Williams Jr. tested well with a 4.5 shuttle and 4.61 40, and those numbers showed up during position drills. He moved smoothly through bag work, displaying good balance, quick feet, and a low center of gravity that helped him stay under control while changing direction. Williams Jr. also looked comfortable catching the football and running routes, showing he can be effective in the passing game as well. It was a well-rounded performance overall, and I thought Williams Jr put together one of the better days among the running backs in attendance.

After rushing for more than 2,000 yards as a junior, 2027 Sipsey Valley RB Isaiah Bennett arrived at Faulkner with plenty of production behind him. Bennett's compact 5'8 195 frame was noticeable right away, and he carried that build well throughout the workout. He was one of the smoother running backs I watched during position drills, showing good balance, quality footwork, and fluid movement. Bennett is also comfortable as a receiver, using his burst to create separation and get open. His testing numbers were solid with a 4.65 40 and 7.6 L Drill, adding to his athletic profile. Bennett put together a quality day and showed why he has been such a productive player on Friday nights.

2027 Gaylesville RB Jackson Sentell is one of those prospects whose versatility makes him particularly interesting to evaluate. Sentell tested well with a 4.5 shuttle, 4.62 40, and 7.5 L Drill while carrying a 6'0 185 frame that still has room for additional growth. His athleticism translated well throughout the workout, and he looked comfortable moving through drills. What makes Sentell especially intriguing is that his future may be on the other side of the ball. He already has experience at linebacker, and I could see a path where that becomes his primary position at the next level, given his physical tools and athletic profile. Whether he stays at running back or transitions to defense, Sentell has the traits colleges like to develop. With the success he had as a junior and another offseason developing, Sentell looks well-positioned for an even bigger senior campaign.

Projection is often a big part of evaluating younger running backs, and that was the case for 2028 Montevallo RB Julian Craig. Craig may not have been the most polished back in attendance, but I found myself thinking about how his skill set could translate on Friday nights. He posted a 4.75 40 and showed the traits of a runner who could thrive in a downhill, one-cut-and-go system. Craig's game is built more around getting north and south than making multiple defenders miss in space. Once he gets his foot in the ground, he has good straight-line speed to get vertical and generate chunk plays. There is still development ahead of him, but the tools are there to work with, and I think Craig is a player whose best football is still in front of him and could thrive in the right system.
