It instills pride in the program and creates a sense of ownership in the locker room. Four programs secured commitments this week from in-state prospects.

Starting with the premier program in the Show Me State, the Missouri Tigers accepted a couple of Top 10 ranked Missouri prospects on Monday.

Top interior offensive line prospect in the State of Missouri, [player_tooltip player_id='652849' first='Kyler' last='Kuhn'] of St. Piux X, made the call to Mizzou on Monday. It appeared his final three included Iowa and Nebraska, two other programs he executed an official visit with over the past month. Ultimately, he felt prioritized by Missouri. The talent in the backyard must stay in the backyard. Kuhn has a GPA over 3.9, possesses an 80 inch wingspan at 6030 285, is mean, phyiscal, nasty, athletic, explosive, and could play anywhere in the country. This two-time state champ wrestler in the heavyweight class will forego his final season in order to prepare for SEC Football.

https://twitter.com/KylerKuhn/status/2069095150656065810

Also on Monday, St. Mary's [player_tooltip player_id='1452148' first='Kingston' last='Miles'] made a massive decision to flip from Auburn to Missouri. We just came off of reporting Auburn's massive get on the 1st of June in last week's piece detailing business conducted through the first half of the month. Miles made a visit to Columbia last weekend, and on the heels of that trip, he decided to play SEC Football just a bit closer to home. The Tigers have a recent history with explosive ball carriers coming through Columbia, and [player_tooltip player_id='1452148' first='Kingston' last='Miles'] figures to be the next of that variety to be sent to The League in three to five years time.

https://twitter.com/kingstonnnnn3x/status/2069833214399574324

Shifting to the other Division I programs that scored this past week, Lindenwood and Missouri State also brought in productive in-state prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='1537429' first='Quentin' last='Lea'], a verified 6020 231 linebacker prospect out of Rock Bridge, was fresh off his performance at Lindenwood where he ran 4.81x40, jumped 30.5 vertical and 10'2 broad jump, great numbers for his position and body type. Lea is a versatile player that can play off the edge, in space or in the box, and had a very productive 2025 consisting of 129 tackles, 10 for loss and 4 sacks. Lea is an intelligent player between the white lines and also in the classroom where he reports a 4.27 GPA and a 29 ACT, and also possesses the leadership intangible being a three-time Team Captain. Lea has a great ceiling and future ahead, and on Saturday he became a Bear.

https://twitter.com/quentinlea_/status/2068415955223318974

Lindenwood accepted commitments from a pair of prospects this week, starting with linebacker prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1188263' first='Ty' last='Lige'] of St. Louis University High. Lige performed at the Mega Camp earlier this month where he verified his measurables at 6000 199 and recorded a 9'2 broad jump. On tape, Lige has short area game and a relentless motor. He is a second level player with versatility playing off the edge and blitzing the gaps creating pressure with his athletic ability and quickness. Lige took his official to St. Charles over the weekend and gave Lions his commitment on Tuesday.

https://twitter.com/TyLige3/status/2069525998484226516

Just yesterday, Lindenwood secured their second commitment of the week from the edge rusher from Festus, [player_tooltip player_id='1590167' first='Antonio' last='Pinkston']. Pinkston refers to his particular position as "punisher" and that is exactly what can be taken away from his tape. At a listed size of 6020 230, Pinkston has a thick build, lots of natural play strength, and takes those attributes straight into soul of the ball carrier. He is violent and physical with hands, has a very good nose for the ball, a great motor in pursuit, and tackles with a thump. Pinkston had several Division I offers that included FBS programs Arkansas State and Air Force.

https://twitter.com/Antoniop314/status/2070286154604142684

Division II Northwest Missouri State attracted a pair of prospects this week with Division I potential.

On Wednesday, edge rusher [player_tooltip player_id='2142843' first='Jackson' last='Wooden'] from Hallsville made the move after his visit to Maryville. Wooden verified his measurables at Lindenwood earlier this month at 6050 212, a frame that is clearly long a primed for growth based off the tape and seeing him live on the hoof. Wooden has quicks, lateral explosiveness, strains to the ball with excellent effort, closes with burst, plays with anticipation, and makes an impact on special teams. He is a three phase player and a Team Captain with a 3.81 GPA. Wooden is one of the top pass rushers in the state, and chose Northwest over multiple handfuls of offers across several divisions, including all three military academies, which says a ton about his brain and character.

https://twitter.com/JackWooden2027/status/2069877291120046184

Also on Wednesday, Northwest got good news from [player_tooltip player_id='1324014' first='Cornelius' last='Mitchell Jr.'] from Ray-Pec. Mitchell is a top 10 safety prospect in the state, measured in at 6000 172 at Lindenwood, and tested 4.69x40, 30 inch vertical jump and 10'2 broad jump. This versatile DB plays both corner and safety, and throws his body around looking to inflict pain as a proper safety should. Northwest was his most recent offer amongst a collection of options spanning all divisions from power conference to NAIA. The Bearcats did a great job this week.

https://twitter.com/cjmitchell7p/status/2069909468574560752

MIDWEEK MACtion

Everyone loves football on a snowy Tuesday in November.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188456' first='Ethan' last='Bain'] is one of the top 3 interior offensive line prospects in the State of Missouri, drawing offers from several FBS and FCS programs over the offseason. This two way menace is a heck of an athlete that has the capability to play all three inside as he continues to rise up the levels, and will be able to function at the tackle position with his lateral agility, violence and quickness. Bain took his official visit to Ypsilanti over the weekend and it was enough to drop a pin.

https://twitter.com/E552Bain/status/2069437359083434495

Northern Illinois will no longer be a MAC program, but until they take snaps in the Mountain West, they are still very much a Greater Chicagoland and Midwest Coast Football program that took part in the Midweek MACtion.

This week, they got a big commitment from safety/linebacker prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1752607' first='John' last='Ramella'] of St. Louis University, the second Junior Bill to pull the trigger over the past seven days. Ramella is verified at 6030 204 from Lindenwood, testing at a 29.7 vertical and 9'2 broad jump, and reports a 4.0 GPA. He chose the Huskies over two handfuls of Division I offers that included the academies. He has a physical brand of football in his pocket and great growth potential.

https://twitter.com/ramella_john/status/2069454415870804078

"Eke" Henderson is a football and track star at Lift For Life Academy in St. Louis. At a listed size of 6000 178, the receiver on the football field runs in the 11.0-11.1 range on the track in the 100m category. The track explosiveness translates to the football field as Henderson displays the acceleration and straight line speed on tape to be a problem for defenses. At the top of his routes, he sinks his hips, and in traffic he is poised an navigates the cluster. A week ago, [player_tooltip player_id='1131028' first='Eke' last='Henderson'] flipped from Eastern Michigan to Miami University, and will likely continue to be a problem for coverages in the MAC.

https://twitter.com/EkeilanH/status/2068127150230642925

DAKOTA STATE IN THE SHOW ME STATE

Off of his official visit, Lee's Summit North versatile DB/WR [player_tooltip player_id='681933' first='Logan' last='Mayfield'] announced his commitment to FCS juggernaut and soon-to-be FBS program North Dakota State. Mayfield is listed at 6010 170 with a 4.47 laser timed 40 yard dash. He chose the Bison over offers across multiple divisions.

https://twitter.com/Loganmayfield17/status/2067707934491234313

South Dakota State got into the game securing a commitment from receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1188296' first='Isaac' last='Hudson'] from Chaminade. Hudson has a great build and frame at a verified 6010 210 with a reported 78 inch wingspan. He is aggressive off the line and has burst in his climb and stem. His ball skills are impressive, he is nonchalant at the catch point, and in the open field through traffic he is smooth and fluid. He appears to take 'No Block No Rock' to heart as he is physical and strong on those assignments on the perimeter. Hudson attracked offers from some of the best in FCS, academies, and FBS group of five programs, and chose the Jackrabbits to continue the journey.

https://twitter.com/IsaacGodplans/status/2069948238803747135

BE ALL YOU CAN BE

...in the Army. That is where [player_tooltip player_id='1188339' first='Noah' last='McCollum'] is headed. Verified at 6010 255, McCollum puts the type of football on tape indicative of a man going to war. This tweener of a down lineman is a high motor, high energy, highly active player that moves with second level athletic ability and goes about his business with relentlessness. McCollum had offers from FBS, FCS and D2 programs, and ultimately, 'Go Army, Beat Navy' was a rally cry too good to pass on.

https://twitter.com/NoahMcCollum56/status/2068506247288979576

GORILLA WARFARE

Pittsburg State is about as close as one can be to staying in-state to play ball without staying in-state to play ball. That is where [player_tooltip player_id='1335413' first='Frank' last='Luckett IV'] chose to deliver his commitment to this week. Luckett has Division I potential despite his undersized measurables at an estimated 5080 150. With the opportunity to evaluate Luckett live in the 2024 offseason, Luckett performed at a high level of competitiveness and athleticism at a young age. At the EDGYTIM MLK Showcase, he was one of our top performers, as he made it a tough day for even the best of the retrievers in attendance. He plays well bigger than his frame and is quite fundamentally sound.

https://twitter.com/4th_Addition/status/2069951203467796659

*** Use code StopPRZ30 to hack 30% off your subscription to Prep Redzone ***
