Aurora 7v7 Tournament | Lincoln Northwest Standouts

There were nine different teams in attendance and 10 teams in total (Norris V and JV) that filled up the stadium with high-flying action from start to finish. He looked very comfortable and poised, leading the Falcons' offense while consistently making the right reads and keeping the ball out of harm's way. Sammy's arm strength and accuracy have also improved as he throws a very catchable ball with great placement to all levels of the field. He can also throw with zip when throwing into tight windows or with touch as he tries to airdrop the ball into the receiver's hands. Zavier kicked off the day with a highlight-reel catch where he went up and "Mossed" the defender for a big-time TD catch. Overall, Zavier has a pretty solid skill set at receiver, starting with a good release off the ball, great burst through the stem, clean footwork, and sharp change of direction at the break. He really stood out as a "hands" receiver who is willing to be aggressive when going up to get the ball. Jamaar is a bigger, stronger target who can sit in open space and box out defenders as the ball arrives. He is surprisingly nimble as he moves through his routes and flows through the defense, trying to get open. Strong hands at the catch point. Jacob had one of the biggest plays of the day as he hauled in a last-second touchdown while battling through contact. Young showed good instincts and body control when adjusting to make catches outside his frame. His bigger frame holds up well against DBs trying to jam him at the line of scrimmage and helps him "outphysical" defenders at the catch point.
