UW-Stout Prospect Camp: Nate’s Gunslinger Standouts

This young man is one that I thought made quick growth in his development from start to finish in Menomonie, as if you watched his first reps versus his last reps of camp, you saw a quarterback that find his groove from a poise perspective. He was balanced on short and intermediate routes and did so with good touch for his age with his throws. What I liked most about Thomas is how he learned from his off reps and squashed them quickly by his next rep. He's got a solid plethora of arm velocity on all three levels and something he can keep growing on this summer is showing more balance on his touch throws especially on intermediate routes. Thomas was also proficent with his presence inside the pocket. He was proficent on all three levels and showed off the balanced arm strength you wanted to see in the live eval on his throws. Parker also was highly proficent with his ball placement in the reps I was able to watch. The 6'2 185 pounder from Cochrane-Fountain City has good measurables for the quarterback position at the next-level and came into camp with a Division 1 offer from the new staff at Drake. He's one that I caught his reps later at camp, but man what I saw was a small town prospect that has a mighty strong throwing arm. Not only was his arm strength impressive, but his precison and ball placement was big hitters on a handful of reps that I got to watch and surely had me and some others surprised with how much accuracy he had on those deep routes. You might not find tape on this young man, but he's surely one that I feel can play on Saturdays as he also showed off good athleticism getting out of the pocket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
