There is no question who the top QB in WNY is. Buttles won the WNY Player of the Year award in 2025 and was a Connolly Cup finalist. On top of that, he led the Red Raiders to another MMHSAA championship and more recently, he has committed to play D1 football at Rutgers.

There was a lot of expectation on Hassett being a first-year starter in 2025. He led the Quakers to a 6-4 record and put up 1,500 yards through the air and 15 scores. Orchard Park is moving down to Class A after being a top 4 contender in AA. Jayden should make a big step forward as a senior and bring Orchard Park back to the promise land.

Martis is one of my favorite prospects in this class. He has good size for a QB1 and does a great job of taking what the defense gives him. He threw for over 1,400 yards and 20 TDs spreading the ball around as 4 different WRs caught at least 15 passes and 4 TDs last season. He also led Williamsville East to their first playoff victory in recent memory.

The move to Class AA was a struggle for Lockport as a whole in 2025 but Stowe made the most of it throwing for 1,000 yards and adding a team high 400 on the ground totaling 16 TDs.

North Tonawanda posted their first winning record in more than 5 years. Cinquino was the catalyst. A dual threat QB, AJ threw for 1,150 yards and 13 TDs while leading the Lumberjacks in rushing with 750 yards on the ground and 9 more TDs.

Szratter broke out as a sophomore, but the loss of his top receiving target put a damper on his junior campaign. He still managed a respectable 1,200 yards and 10 TDs but a 5-2 league record gave them playoff hopes. Kole is a solid QB that can really have an explosive season as a senior.

Gangi led Williamsville South to an undefeated league record and registered almost 2,000 yards and 20+ TDs. His #539 ranking is a little low in my opinion, but a repeat senior campaign should garner a lot of collegiate attention.

Chase struggled as a junior with just over 1,000 yards but showed a lot of promise. Talking with his coaching staff, he has shown a lot of dedication this off-season and should be in for a big senior year.
