Recruiting Roundup: Verbal Commitments, New Offers for 2027 Class

An incredibly productive season - 90 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, boosted by 574 yards as a kick returner on special teams - is paying off in a big way. The 6-foot-0, 195-pound defensive back has great ball skills and outstanding top-end juice/home-run threat ability in the return game. The Noblesville High School offensive tackle, who comes from a very athletic family, committed to Curt Cignetti's Indiana Hoosiers. Cignetti and Co. are getting a big 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle who has a mean streak. McDermott is a fantastic finisher as a run blocker, plays with a high motor, has tremendous effort, and is hard to get around just due to his size and frame. Great first-step quickness.
