is a tough run-plugging defensive tackle and strong point-of-attack defender. Flashes being disruptive and has great use-of-hands to shed blocks. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound prospect is the prototypical nose tackle who can occupy multiple blockers to allow his teammates to clean up the play. Goldacker picked up his first offers from Western Illinois and Butler.

Goldacker started last year for Carroll and had the type of year you’re hoping for when you first go out there. He got reps, made plays, and gained confidence. He’s a true interior defensive lineman and seems to understand his strengths and what he does well. He’s strong enough to shed blocks and has enough length to make tackles as they cross by. He has decent gap integrity and doesn’t get out of position. Simple things go a long way on the field, and Goldacker avoids those little mistakes. 31 tackles and 5 TFLs upfront in year 1 was a good start, but I’m excited to see him build on that.
