He earned the MVP selection for the running backs. He was the most consistent running back throughout the entire showcase. From the individual drills to the one-on-one competitions, Torres was the best running back. The competition was tough at the running back position, but he stood out as the best. He played extremely well at the showcase. He earned a top 5 performance. Carson's ability to run is apparent. He has good quickness and burst to make defenders miss. He is excellent in the open field. During one-on-ones vs. linebackers, he was outstanding. Carson was one of the best running backs at the showcase. Then his size (6'1") and strength were impressive. Then you see him move, and you become even more impressed. He has a quickness and burst that separates him from other running backs. His recruitment has started to heat up as he recently received offers from Old Dominion, Maine, and Bryant. I did not know much about him as a prospect, but after seeing him work out, I see the talent. 1st it started with combine numbers. He ran a 4.64 40-yard dash, which is a good number. Then I watched him throughout the showcase, and he was consistent the entire time. His film is electric. He can score every time he touches the ball; that's how explosive he is as a runner. He is also a physical runner. At the showcase he was his usual dominant self.. I especially enjoyed watching him work one-on-one against the linebackers. Ali constantly performed at a high level all day.
