He runs with a low pad level, allowing him to absorb contact and keep plays moving forward. His ability to read blocks and find cutback lanes is a trait that college scouts prioritize. Ali shows good burst through the hole, quickly accelerating into the second level. He also demonstrates strong contact balance, often breaking arm tackles and gaining extra yardage. In open space, he has enough agility to make defenders miss and extend plays. His physical running style makes him effective in short-yardage situations. Ali’s combination of vision, toughness, and burst gives him the profile of a dependable back at the next level.

Yousif Ali Yousif Ali Yousif Ali 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Strath Haven | 2027 State PA  impressed as part of the multi-faceted ground attack deployed by Strath Haven. Ali, along with Hudson, Bradley, Barlow, and Mudrick racked up chunks of yards with relative ease, Ali making a lasting impression on just 6-7 carries. A full workload would have Ali eclipsing the 150+ yard mark, the same can likely be said about the other backs in this crowded RB stable. 3.7 GPA, currently unranked, Ali will likely land as a Top 400 prospect among PA 2027s. I’ll take a deeper look once he posts his complete 2025 seasonal tape months from now.
