Dazarie Carson Dazarie Carson 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB/ATH Cathedral Preparatory | 2027 State PA is someone I have watched for a while, so I was excited to see him work out at the showcase. I did not come away disappointed because of his ability to make plays as a running back. He earned a top 5 ranking as a running back at the showcase. His explosion and ability to get in and out of breaks are impressive. Carson has special quickness and burst that every team wants out of their running back. His recruitment has finally heated up this week. He recently picked up an offer from Bethany College. I expect more offers to come his way.

He earned a top 5 performance. Carson’s ability to run is apparent. He has good quickness and burst to make defenders miss. He is excellent in the open field. During one-on-ones vs. linebackers, he was outstanding. Carson was one of the best running backs at the showcase. He has picked up two offers this offseason, and I expect many more to come his way.

The explosive RB/ATH prospect is known for his speed, agility, and ability to create game-changing plays in open space. Carson’s athleticism allows him to make defenders miss while also possessing the burst to turn short gains into explosive touchdowns. His versatility and natural instincts with the football make him one of the more dangerous offensive weapons expected to compete. Coaches and fans alike will be eager to see Carson showcase his dynamic skill set compared to the elite regional talent this weekend.

Dezarie Carson is a good athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball. He shows a great burst when he hits the hole as a runner, and when he gets into the open field. He was used as a kickoff returner and did a good job returning kicks for big plays. He also was used in the passing game and showed good hands catching the ball. Carson had a good year this season and he should play even better next season.

Carson is having a great season for Cathedral Prep and is the Ramblers top offensive weapon this season with 97 carries for 569 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s averaging a quality of 6.1 yards per carry and 66.2 yards per game.

Carson doesn’t have a ton of footage available but does have enough to get a quality feeling for his game. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Carson is well-bult for his size though will need to continue to build his lower body. That being said, Carson has good vision and shows the explosiveness needed to burst through tight openings in the line of scrimmage in order to get to the second level. Despite being a smaller back, Carson is also a hardnosed runner and isn’t afraid of contact, showing the ability to break through would be tacklers.

Only a sophomore there is still a ton of growth still for Carson to go as a tailback which is an exciting proposition. He’s already a good running back and one of the better running backs on the western side of the state.
