QB MVP: Austin Jacobson - St. Xavier (Ky) ‘29

- Saturday was the first camp experience for this Bluegrass State native and he performed like a veteran as Jacobson ended the Showcase by walking away with MVP honors for the quarterback position. From start to finish, Jacobson had a consistent day by doing well during testing then really ramping things up during drills and 1 on 1 competition. This guy is a mature passer beyond his age that displayed accuracy and timing along with enough arm strength to push the ball down field. Jacobson sports good mechanics as well with a nice release. He does need to keep getting bigger and stronger but Jacobson certainly has room to grow further and put more RPM's within his right arm. I think what I see from this Kentucky signal caller and his future over the next two years and eventually into the college game.

RB MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1589943' first='Quincy' last='Mitchell'] - Forrest ‘28

- Mitchell walked into this camp with a lot of buzz and he backed it up by not just earning top honors at his running back position but named the overall MVP for the entire Showcase. The Rockets sophomore ball carrier dominated this camp from start to finish. Mitchell was exceptional during his testing then proceeded to dominate drill work and 1 on 1 competition. His ability to catch the ball out the backfield was really impressive as defenders had a hard time keeping up with Mitchell. This guy may be undersized with height but he is legit and a strong contender for the top back in the state for the TN2028 class. This was also a great start to camp season for Mitchell as he continues to search for that first college offer.

WR MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1629937' first='Kaden' last='Webber'] - GCA

- Ever since the 2025 season ended, Webber has been on a mission to push his game to new heights and get himself on the college radar. He appears to be doing that as yesterday at the PRZTN Showcase, the Rams wideout came home with positional MVP honors after a strong showing in Murfreesboro. Webber did well during testing but it was his drill work and action during 1 on 1 competition that earned him MVP honors. The Rams senior was nearly unguardable as he allowed his athleticism, quick footwork and hands to put defensive backs on skates and away from the ball. Webber nearly came down with just anything thrown his way on Saturday. It was a great start to camp season for this Knoxville area receiver and if he continues to stack more performances together, his recruitment may finally take off.

OL MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='905242' first='Caleb' last='Coffman'] - Page

- Coffman has been a regular at our Showcase's through the years, so it's only fitting that his final PRZTN camp appearance ends with earning MVP honors. The Patriots senior big man put together a clean, efficient camp performance on Saturday where he did his best work during 1 on 1 competition. You can see in his clips that Coffman holds up well at the point of attack while doing a good job at moving his feet and mirroring his opponent. Versatility was also seen from Coffman as he took snaps at center, guard and tackle throughout the day with his best work coming in the interior. This Mid-Tennessee product is still working and developing himself but he is doing good work as it paid off on Saturday with an MVP level performance that was earned over other quality offensive linemen.

DL MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1038498' first='Will' last='Pasley'] - GCA ‘28

- This off-season has been good thus far for this East Tennessee big man as Pasley has picked up several offers along the way and yesterday at our Spring Showcase, he earned MVP honors for the defensive line. The Rams defensive tackle had a solid overall day in Murfreesboro where he really started to shine during drill work and into 1 on 1 competition. Pasley is a powerful, thick young man that opposing O-linemen had a tough time holding up against due to his power and strength. He simply overwhelmed the competition with his size while displaying occasional athleticism. There is much work to be done by Pasley to increase his lower body agility but he put his power on full display yesterday that eventually earned him top honors for the defensive line.

LB MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='2055001' first='Colt' last='McConnell'] - Watertown ‘28

- McConnell traveled down to Murfreesboro on Saturday looking to make a name for himself and he definitely helped his cause as he ended the day as MVP for the linebackers. The Purple Tigers rising junior is dripping with potential and he showed day at the Showcase where he tested well then proceeded to put in good work during drills and 1 on 1 competition. This Mid-Tennessee product is an athletic, versatile guy that displays sideline to sideline range along with the ability to cover in space. McConnell showed that skill set Saturday on a consistent basis that eventually landed him as the linebacker's most valuable performer. Plenty of work is left to be done for McConnell but the building blocks are in place to develop nicely into a potential FCS level recruit.

DB MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1617434' first='Mason' last='Laster'] - Alcoa

- Currently ranked as a “Top 150” prospect within our senior rankings, Laster backed up his status on Saturday at the Prep Redzone Tennessee Spring Showcase where he earned MVP honors for the defensive backs. This East Tennessee product performed at cornerback where he did very well at staying square with his opponent then moving his feet to stay on path with his opponent. The athleticism, speed and quick reacting movements is what stood out the most about Laster. He is a fluid mover that reacts quickly on the ball. The Tornadoes senior does need to keep packing on more weight but the athletic tools are there along with the versatility to become an impact player in college on the back end of the defense. Keep eyes out on this guy moving forward as I'm expecting a breakout senior year from Laster.
