Prep Redzone DAK Showcase Preview: Trench Monsters to Know

Here is the link: https://events.prepredzone.com/e/2226/register/exposure-series-dakotas   With our spring Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase this weekend in Sioux Falls at Augustana, I took a look at prospects on both sides of the trenches that those college coaches in attendance need to look out for!      We have to start with our OL MVP from our winter showcase in Aberdeen, which came from Sioux Falls Christian offensive linemen Rowan VanderStowe, who was one of our most massive stockrisers we had in the last 2028 South Dakota rankings update. He has some of the best strength in his hands we've seen come thru our showcase series over the last handful of years and has smooth hand technique and pad-level. He's consistent getting into the second level and I'll surely have a front row seat to see if Rowan can pull off back to OL MVPs at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase.     Another recent OL MVP signed up and ready to go for our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase this coming Saturday, is Timber Lake's [player_tooltip player_id='1544429' first='Mason' last='Bickel']. Mason's hit a growth spurt this offseason, so I will be intrigued to watch how he utilizes more length at his disposal. He boosts a quick first step and I can only miagine knowing Mason's work ethic, that the first step has added more agility since we last got a live eval from him in December. He gained a ton of poise from what we saw in December when it came to pass-protection, and I will be intrigued to see the further growth this coming Saturday in Sioux Falls.     Skyler is another one I'll be excited to watch in the offensive line group on Saturday out of Spearfish at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. He's gained in size and frame since we last got a live eval on him as the now 6'3 270 pounder took a great step foward in his junior season with the Spartans, especially with his leverage and pad-level skillsets. Skyler also has gotten quicker with readjusting his hands to elevate the run game as one that I feel could play in a couple different spots on the offensive line at the next-level. In what is a loaded OL group in our 2027 South Dakota class, Skyler surely has the opportunity to rise his stock with his showing this coming Saturday even more.     Max has already started to solidify himself as a stockriser this spring based on the reps I have been able to watch from recent camps, so it's surely without a question he should be one of the top-tier defensive linemen in attendance coming out of 11AA powerhouse Pierre T.F. Riggs. He's gotten significantly quicker getting off blocks with his hands and surely is showing one that has a growing football IQ based on how much he's improved his hand technique from the last couple of showcases. He picked up his first offer recent from Jamestown, and I surely would expect even more NSIC schools to get involved with Max looking ahead at this summer.     A newcomer to our 2027 North Dakota rankings last update is one of a couple out of the Carrington Cardinals in defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='1319875' first='Alec' last='Threadgold']. He shows off efficently quick hands off blocks and without a doubt, Alec is a edge rusher that has the wirey movement you want to see in the backfield in the defensive trenches that also quickly shows off the high motor I will be looking to see on Saturday in Sioux Falls. He got his first offer from Northern State here under a month ago, and surely in my eyes that won't be the last NSIC program that will be in the running for Alec into this summer and surely could catch some attention this weekend from those in attendance!
