An impressive Cobb County cornerback who should see a bump in the next 2028 Prep Redzone rankings, Dixon showed time and time again last season they he can line up and cover impressive receivers on the outside. Playing for a very talented Walton team, Dixon played more like a veteran than a second-year player, showing he can make plays in coverage while being able to make a sound tackle on the ball-carrier. The instinctive, dependable defensive back from Marietta made 45 tackles last season with 10 pass deflections and two blocked field goals on special teams. He earned a new offer from the Kentucky Wildcats and could see more come his way this spring and summer.

The offers continue to roll in for one of the top 2028 defensive back prospects in the metro-Atlanta area. After a giant sophomore season where he made play after play for the Milton Eagles defensive, Wonsley is seeing his recruitment continue to take off with recent offers from Florida State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Kentucky, among others. Ranked as a top-50 prospect in the state for his class, Wonsley is fresh off a fantastic sophomore season for one of the best programs in the state, making 43 tackles, over 11 pass-breakups, and five INTs in coverage. Don't be surprised if his offer list continues to grow by the end of the spring.

An active cornerback who plays fast and consistently finds his way to the ball-carrier, Guin is a lean defender with impressive instincts in coverage and enough physicality to take down a bigger back in the open field. Playing for one of the best teams in the country, Guion's dependable play in the secondary was a big reason why the Thomas County Central defense was so dominant during the 2025 season. Leading his team to a state championship, the playmaking junior showed he can maker plays in zone coverage with enough speed to cover down field in man coverage as well. The South Georgia defensive back earned new offers from Tulane, East Carolina, Oregon State and Toledo.

An Atlanta-area linebacker flying under the radar in the 2028 class, Flounory is a disruptive defender with impressive quickness and burst, allowing him to shoot the gaps and make plays behind the line of scrimmage. A good overall athlete who can also line up at running back, Flounory shined on both sides of the ball and made a bigger impact that most sophomores would. He plays hard, tackles well, and should be even better as a junior for Cedar Grove in 2026. His recruitment is starting to pick up and he's added recent offers this spring from Samford and Alabama State with more likely heading his way.

A big defender on the rise in Atlanta who saw a new big offer come his way from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Clark is one of the city's top 2028 interior defensive lineman at 6-foot-4 275-pounds who knows how to find his way into the backfield. Playing on a loaded Woodward defense, Clark made a consistent impact in the trenches, fighting off blocks and creating havoc constantly behind the line of scrimmage. He's a run-blocking interior lineman who can also create pressure on the quarterback. He's ranked as a top-10 defensive line prospect in the state and new offers continue to come his way.
